Course Curriculum Overview
I, personally, was always interested in literature and hence chose the same for my graduation. The faculty : ratio was roughly about 1:7, hence the attention and interest towards students was pretty good. Almost all the faculty were PhD graduates and their teaching methods, though unique to each one, were quite effective in the overall academic outcome. Term exams or semesters would be conducted on intervals of every 6 months and the passing percentage were more than average.
Internships Opportunities
Our college was particularly partnered with Internshala. It was a huge platform for college students that opened various huge opportunities to us students. Our college also provided internship facilities with various schools and companies, with a starting stipend amount varying from 5k-20k per month. The task to each internship varies, depending on the sector and the role. Vut it would mostly be according the stream that the student is pursuing.
Placement Experience
College facilitates campus placements every year for students passing out from the institution. Students are eligible to attend placements from their 6th semester. College also extends students to passed out candidates, 2yrs from their passed out year. Huge giants from IT and Non-IT sector, such as Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, and many more, would conducts placements in our college. Other sectors, like hospitality, schools, healthcare would also conduct interviews on campus. The highest average package offered varies from 3.5LPA for IT Profiles to 2.5LPA for Non-IT profiles, considering all are freshmen with no experience. Every year, on an average, 60% students get placed through campus interviews and placements. I am currently working as a HR in a Consultancy Company, a job that I acquired through campus placement drive.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee was quite reasonable considering the quality of education and the rating of the college. In fact, it was much less compared to other high end college ls there, that promote to give quality education. The fee hike policy was honestly a drawback considering the time and circumstances. The fee hike was implemented during lovkdown when many were suffering economically, and though exams were conducted online, the college made no concesions on reducing examination fee or semester fees. The financial assistance provided by the college is quite complimentary. It provides assistance to backward class students through various government scholarships and also provides extra assistance to students with sportive exellences. The college also provides placement drives where hundreds of high to low companies, from various sectors, conduct interviews on the campus and recruit thousands of them, every year. Students placed through campus interview get an average of 2LPA-3LPA.
Campus Life
Life at campus was quite fun, but we were destined to enjoy only a year at campus vefore all instutions closed down for lockdown. Going back to our freshmen year, we were haertily welcomed by our seniors, who held freshers eve and various contests in our honor. There were then annual fests such as department associations, traditionals, and not to forget the charismatic cultures every year, each celebrated with great vibes and huge enthusiasm. Sports were a unoque charm to the entire college life. Various sports and respective ameneties were offered by the college. Swimming pool was a whole different vibe to this. The college also participated in various contest, from district to state and national levels and encouraged students to back with prizes in each. The clubs were not to be forgotten. There were more than 4 clubs, some of the notable being entrepreneaurial and environmental clubs. The Youth Cross and NCC cadature were quite commendable.
Admission
To enroll in any stream provided by the college, the candidate must have senior higher secondary qualification or 12th passed. The admission form can be availed from the college portal after which the college contacts students for a direct interview and admission processing. The fee structure varies depending on the stream chosen by the candidate. It costs an average of 9k-12k per year. The college begins admissions following 12th board announcements, roughly from the month of May to June. The admission process is quite smooth except for proper instructions regarding admission interview. If the faculty could clearly mention the details of the documents and the amount of photo copies required for the admisaion interview, it would save a lot of time and effort for students in making rounds to the college.
