The Beautiful IIT Varanasi

Actually, my interests are superconductors, semiconductors, nanoparticles, quantum physics and AI and with my rank this is the best I can get. The faculty here are good and very helpful also the student ratio is decent not perfectly 1:1. There is a projector in every class and teachers reach out with their help of them. So the class becomes a little more interesting. In my college we have mid sem and after that end sem. You'll have to study consistently to get a good cpi. If you just want to pass you can start studying 2 weeks before the exams.

There are several internship options available for the students. And the students can do internships from 2nd year onwards. Also, we have a strong alumni network which also helps in getting internship opportunities.

The placement here is very good. The highest placement this year was Rs 1.2 crore annually which was from Mathematics and Computing department. Also, the department-wise placement is good every branch has avg placement greater than Rs 20 lakh annually. Also, the avg placement of the college is Rs 26Lakh(approx) you can see the placement report on the official website.

Okay, so fees are Rs 1,00,000 semester fees + Rs 6000 Hostel and Rs 12000 Mess charges. Around Rs 2,50,000 was the fee for 1 year. Also, there are fee remissions in which students whose family income is between Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh will get a remission of 66% of semester fees and those whose family income is less than Rs 1 lakh will get a 100% fees remission on semester fees. Also, there are some category-wise fee remissions and there are also many scholarships for students. I'm from the general category and I'm getting IIT (BHU) Foundation Scholarship which fulfils my semester fees.

Life at the campus is really good. As my campus is filled with trees there are shades on the road on sunny days also at night it looks awesome to walk on those roads. We have several fests like Kashi Yatra our cultural fest, Tech Nex tech fest, FMC weekend film and media club's fest, Spradha sports fest and many more. The availability of books is also provided by the library. Which also includes reading halls for students. We have a great sports culture. Here sports are as equal to academics. We have 3 big grounds which plus an indoor stadium. The sports included are Taekwondo, Badminton, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis, Cricket, Football, Handball, Boxing, Athletics, Swimming, volleyball, and Basket Ball. Also, we have our own personal Gym with full AC which is free for all students. There are several clubs in all the fields like Cine club, photography club, outreach club, business club, literally club, Indian music club, western music club, Dance club, etc.

The hostel is here big and well-maintained it. I'm currently accumulated in the Aryabhatta hostel. Which is the biggest hostel here. Also, we have the Indore common hall which includes all the Indore games with a TV. Also, there are 4 parks in the hostel out of which one is for badminton. Mess hers are good also the food quality is really good. And the menu was changed Daily.

First you have to clear JEE in which there are two parts JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. For getting into IITs you have to clear both of them. You'll find the application form and date on the official website of JEE mains. The fees for JEE mains was Rs 650(at my time in 2022) and for JEE Advance was Rs 2800. You can get reservation as well. The proper list of resurved seats are on the official websites of respective colleges.
