Remarks

I love my college. The kind of support I get from my college is awesome. I know there are some flaws in my college but which college don't have any flaws. A Very good educational environment is there.

Entrance Preview

I took WBJEE in 2015 and scored around 127 out of 250 and my rank was around 32050. I choose this college because this college has a great placement record in past and in the last year also around 100+ of our seniors got placed in the reputed pharmaceutical industries out of total 126 students. I choose this profession because this is a growing industry in the medical sector, in fact, India is the pharma hub of the World and also my field of interest is the medical related study, that's why I joined this course.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum includes details study in pharmaceutics, pharmacology, pharmacology, biochemistry, microbiology, pharmaceutical engineering, physical chemistry, organic chemistry, physiology and also daily lab practicals, assignments are there. The syllabus was provided by Pharmacy Council of India in the year 2008 and it is updated thoroughly in the year 2017.

Internships Opportunities

Sadly, our college does not provide the internship. Interested students have to search for the internship by his or her own and apply for the position.

Placement Experience

4.5

In this section, our college is no doubt best in West Bengal. every year more than 70% students got placed through our college campus placement in reputed companies like Dr. Reddy's lab, Alkem laboratories, Zydus pharmaceutical Pvt.ltd, Cipla, Cognigent, Sulekha diagnostic center, Apollo Pharmacy etc. Average placement salary package is around 20-25k per month as a fresher.

Every year cultural fest, technical fest, freshers day, entrepreneurship events are organized by our college. apart from these blood donation events and free medical camp for check up for the rural people are also organized by our college. Generally, the fests are continued for more than 3 days.

Campus Life

3.5

There is an almost equal ratio of boys and girls are present but sometimes they vary from year to year. Every year sports events are organized. Students are sent to the local colleges for debate purposes. As it is a pharmacy college, so no robotics events are organized.

Hostel Facilities

3

I don't know about the food and mess standards of the hostel as I am a day scholar. but there are many local messes are available for day scholars generally renting an amount of 2k per month for a bed and food cost is different. The local food cost is on the higher side, but as a student, you have to manage everything at the end of the day.

Alumni/Alumna

They are very helpful. Every year reunion is organized in our college where the alumni come and share their experiences in their job life.

Exam Structure

There are total two internal exams and one final university exam in every semester. Labs are well organized and having sufficient amount of chemicals and instruments. Internal exams are of 30 marks each and final is of 70 marks and the result is published in the form of GPA ( max Gpa is 10)

4.5

They are really qualified and have a good teaching ability, no doubt in this case. Every year from our college minimum 3-4 students qualified for GPAT ( Graduate pharmacy aptitude test ) for pursuing M.pharm in reputed colleges in India). There are around 25 teachers are there, more or less they are all able to teach well.
