Course Curriculum Overview
The teaching style is mostly using ppt for the theory class and for practical explanation is done by writing on the board and showing an example of how to conduct the experiment The curriculum really prepares you for the real world application because the knowledge we get in class is going to be useful in industries
Placement Experience
From the 8th semester students are eligible for placements The companies that have visited so far was macleods, Alkem,gsk , Glenmark. Percentage of students getting placement depends on the students opting for jobs and majority of the students have secured a job

Campus Life
We have two fests one is technical fest and one is th culture both takes place consecutively one after the other around the month of June but this year it was arranged in February. We have a sports day where all the students participate in the competition
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is clean The rooms are four seater and six seater The rooms will be alloted to you by the hostel matron The food is good If you don't want hostel you can opt for pg outside the college there are many pg outside the college
Admission
Actually I didn't apply anywhere I gave the wbjee entrance exam and I qualified the exam and got this college through counselling . The college takes admission through jee mains,wbjee and cutoff for the exam changes every year
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is poor but the faculties are approachable and really helpful. Th college allots the each student to a faculty member as a mentor so if any student is facing any problem whether it be academically or personally the faculties are ready to help. Four internal theory and two practical internal exams are conducted per semester and one final theory exam and one final practical exam is conducted all together 9 exams are conducted per semester Majority of the students pass the test
Interview Experience
No Group discussion , Interview was done A state based exam was conducted wbjee through which counselling took place and I was alloted to this college in the second round of counselling I did go for upgradation but couldn't get the college
Night Life
Hostel has a gym and college has a cafeteria and library,the campus is not a big one Hostel is inside the college so it's just a 5mim walk from hostel The Hostel allows students to go outside from 5:45-7:45 pm during summer 5:30-7 pm during winter And four hours pass during weekends If extra time is needed for outing we need to sign a letter from the hostel superior And if you are leaving for home or to any other places outside durgapur application is ree and permission from parents is required
