I liked the campus first because it is very big and very clean and green. It have a very good ambience
I like the library because it is very huge and books are abundant
I like to play sports. The ground is very big and Sports equipment are well equipped

Dislikes

I don't like the foods provided in college canteen the food are not good for the money
I don't like the hostel foods abd the hostel foods are waste

Course Curriculum Overview

I am interested so I took this course. In my dept, there are around 50 students only Teachers are very less. The exam will be conducted once in two months as internal and the last month as external. The teaching of the faculties is good is the faculties are well qualified

Internships Opportunities

I don't know much about internships and placements. But it is good. The package ls you can expect more in my department. In other departments also the packages are acceptable. Everyone should make s project in the last year. There are some extra projects that will be added for 2nd year I think

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is normal like every college all courses fee starts at 100000 per year. For my course 120000 when I am joining now it is 100000 per year. Scholarships are available for everyone who ever got good marks can get scholarships. Jee and other exam scholarships are also available check the website kalasalingam.ac.in

Campus Life

Events are conducted 2 to 3 times a month by various groups and clubs. The annual fest will be conducted once per 2 years. Other tech events will be conducted on a monthly basis. Books are abundant in the library. The library is very big and clean. Classrooms are good for 1st years. They provide ac and fan everything. Sports are good daily students will practice in their interested game.

Admission

There is no entrance exam in this college whoever got good marks can join u can apply through the online portal kalasalingam.ac.in or in person. There is no reservation. First come first serve. Whoever comes or registers first will get seats

My Life inside VIT'V

Placement Experience:

B.tech students will be eligible after they complete their credits before the 3rd year and usually that is the period during which they will be eligible for placements. For integrated M.tech it might be after the 4th year in 5th year,they could get a year for internships which is good for students. This might be considered as my interest in this course.The placement is around 95 percent.My plans after getting the degree is to become a highly skilled person and to get a job in google. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, etc place our campus.There are no such companies that visited and made no offers.

A review about KARE

Placement Experience:

In my college placement start from 7th semester, students get eligible to sit in drives. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some core firms visited and gave good no of offers. Highest package was around 10 LPA and average near 4.5 LPA depending on profile, mostly software dev, testing and few core engineer role. Around 70% students got placed last year, rest go for higher studies or other prep. My plan after finishing degree is to first try campus offer then aim for higher studies if I not satisfied. Overall placement is decent but still more core companies should come.

I choose this college because compare to other colleges I applied, here the curriculum and faculty felt more relavent for my future goals. I also applied in 2 other colleges but either cutoff was too high or I miss in interview stage, so couldn’t get seat. Admission process here was simple, they accept main entrance exam score and merit list, eligibility was 12th pass with required 80% in PCM. Cutoff was decent compare to top colleges, so I got chance. As of now compare to other colleges the fee structure is pretty affordable and and middle class people can afford for their ward and apart from every one has provided scholarships according to their marks criteria and a special scholarship for sports quota people where they were encouraged pretty enough.
