Course Curriculum Overview

In the commerce field, there aren't lots of courses to choose from. Many commerce students go for BBA but I choose B.Com hons. The first semester wasn't that hard if you have studied, you can pass any exam. The faculties are so helpful.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 8100 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee is 8100. In DU there is less fee structure anyone can pay for it. The fees depend on which course you are choosing every course has a different fee structure it is good to study at DU for people who can't pay much.

Campus Life

Motilal Nehru College has a good infrastructure, the teachers are very friendly. We have a good library, all the books are available for us. The college is also known for its sports achievement. Different Sports are played in the college.

Admission

I took an entrance exam for admission to DU (CUET). And got medium marks but I had a sports quota which helps me to get admission to DU. There wasn't any cut off in CUET, the more marks you get the higher the chances to get admission to DU you will have.

A students insight on his college

Placement Experience:

Eligibility is 5th semester onwards you can get campus placement. Deloitte, TATA, nestle, other big MNC's Highest is around 20 lacs and average is around 5 lacs. 60-70 % students get places but it can be higher or lesser depending upon the crowd of students , their talents. I think I would choose a professional course like civil servant.

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college is quite ok, specially in my course the placement is good.Major students get placed. Big Companies visited our campus for placements- EY, Deloitte,Kpmg. Highest package of our college last year was 21 lakhs.

Curriculum is old and rigid, the still teach old methods and syllabus is updated very slow. But with introduction of SEC and VAC courses student have some different options which the can choose to study for their semester.

Placement Experience:

PWC, Icici Prudential and like wise companies which needed students for finance and accountancy roles offers placements to students. Many new startups too have started coming and this has made placements percentage shoot up in recent past.

Placement Experience:

From 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements I am not sure about the number of offers made but last year Deloitte visited the campus for recruitment. Highest package is around 11lpa plz check on Google. And average is around 5-6 lpa. Seniors told me around 30-40% of the batch gets placement. My plan is to do mba after college

It's a decent college, but better than many other colleges

Placement Experience:

Final year students(5th semester) are eligible for the placements, many famous company recruits, like Deloitte, flipkart,amazon and there's many local companies as well. The highest pakage in 2024 was 24LPA. 20-30% students gets the placement as most of the students opt for Higher studies or get into competitive exams. The jobs offered are based on your course.

After the graduation the students are Eligible for the placement and internship are provided in the same during graduation or courses. And some of the good companies which visited and made the offers. The average package of the company offered that 1 lakh approx in the placements this opportunity starts in du also now the good student can do this. Getting a 90% Above Mark's . After completing my graduation I will take admission in maters also. And also prepare the government exam's.

In CUET, I have less marks but I preferred more college but firstly I get PGDAV college but I don't like that college so I choose Motilal Nehru college. No, i don't preferred other colleges but only Delhi University colleges. From CUET exam, the process of admission is going on.
