I always had a interest in reading and writing so i opted for English honours.It helped me in better communication and write better.It helped me grow myself as well.The faculty is too supportive and helpful.

I haven't done any internships through college. Got my first job in HT Media as an academic counselor. Projects were to help students and grow businesses. Connect to leads and search the probable. Get in touch with the problems and make sure to shoot targets for business growth.

Placement Experience

Various drives are held for recruitment. Various companies visit the campus and hire individuals. Delloite PayTm Concentrix etc comes to the campus. and offers packages accordingly. After graduation, I planned to move to Ireland for my master's.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very minimal. If you get through the entrance test you are supposed to pay the fees as per your wish either in installments or fully. There is a policy of fee hikes too. Every 3rd-year fees for the entire university are increased.

Campus Life

University has elections and it's a fest itself. everyone participates in them its more like a festival going on. The whole campus is full of enthusiasm at that time. University had a very good library. One can get the pass ready and can go and read and even take the book home. Sports are also included on the campus. One can choose any sport and can get guidance.

Admission

One can directly apply on Universities website. Download the form fill it out correctly and upload it on the website. The process was slow and nobody was guided. The universities website is also too slow. Fees are too affordable. If you are an internal student you get the reservations. The university campus is too beautiful and pollution free.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is very useful for me in civil services examination because Optional subject remains important in Upsc examination and if u are already pursuing a degree in a subject which will be your optional in civil services examination then it will be great choice of yours . curriculum prepares me so well. Recently teachers werw changed due to their poor performances in class. This improvement was done. Now exams frequency and timings wero also fine and there was not difficultly level at all

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have interest in psychology that's why I adapt this course. got to know so many things about psychology and which help me to know people better really help me in my day today life. But the professor need to explain more and do not give illusionary examples. Did they have to try to explain in real world scenario. The courses is difficult and the paper is so lengthy give three hours to write and the people is so many that the time is insufficient they need to give more time if they expect to fill 24 pages of answer sheet.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.

Overall curriculum was good that they make proper schedules of classes and all but there was something lacking is that sometimes the professor was absent and we wasn't aware about that and sitting in that class without knowing they should inform us or make a proper arrangement for replacing of class with other teacher and also there was lacking of technology in studies I didn't remember how many times they used the projector for proper teaching.

At AMU seats are fewer and number of students filling the forms are enormous. Hence, the cut-off is always tol high and for BSC in any stream a minimum cut-off is over 80%. In my time it was 83 for Maths Hons and I guess, I was lucky enough to get it....Read More
