Remarks

The college gave me a lifetime learning experience. Most of us believe that. The teachings, the exposure, guidance and various aspects they taught us I believe will help us for our entire lifetime. U definitely gave me memories but it also gave me a learning for my life time which will always help me grow in life.

Entrance Preview

CET Maharashtra, I scored 80 percentile. I chose this college because of the sort of curriculum they had which is very different from other colleges, they not only focus of studies but in your overall development which is the most important aspect of an MBA I believe. More importantly I got reviews from the alumni of the college which really helped me take the decision, moreover my interaction with the staff and students there motivated me to join FLAME.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The college had a tri-semester in which there were 8 subjects in each semester, also in each semester we also had to clear our fitness tests which means equal focus was given on studies and well and physical fitness. The first year was common for all students, in the second year my specialization was marketing, which means in every semester we had special focus on it and most important part was in the last 2 semesters we also had to prepare live business plans on which we were rated, also we had to make those business plans work (pilot business we had to do) which was a live one hand experience on what we were to look forward in our lives.

Internships Opportunities

Yes the college gave an internship opportunity for 3 months. Companies like TCS, Deloitte, Syntel, HDFC bank, axis bank, Duniya finance, Enam securities, dulex paints, Amul; had come to our college. Stipend ranged from Rs 5000 and above, a few also had unpaid internships.

Placement Experience

4

From a bath of 50 MBA students, from which 35-40 opted for placements almost 30-35 got placed. Placements ranged from a package of 4 lakhs - 25 lakhs INR. Companies like Axis bank, HDFC bank, TCS, Deloitte, Duniya finance, Enam securities, Syntel were the companies.

College Events

4.5

We had various events in the college. Biggest event was kurukshetra, it was a sports festival. Competition of all sports was held and around 150-180 colleges participated in the event across the country. The other fest was SHATRANJ and it was a management fest which had all sorts of mind games, marketing/financial based competitions, more than 50-60 colleges

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was 12-13 lakhs but also had a scholarship program me through which we could get scholarship. So it depends from person to person about how their previous marks have been, if they had a really good academic background they would easily get a scholarship. And moreover with the sort of curriculum they provided which was very rigorous many people really felt that it was completely worth it to invest so much in the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

the college provided scholarship on the basis of your previous academic performance. Loan could also be availed, tie up with various banks was there with regard to the loan facility.

Campus Life

5

Gender ratio was almost 1:3 (girls is to boys). Lot of workshops we're conducted with regard to various management aspects, various subjects were it depended upon your specialization, also face to face interactions with the best of industry leaders and experts happened on a regular basis. Also the college management was extremely strict on indiscipline and in the rules And regulations that the college had. Disciplined behavior was all they wanted all the time and there were instances where people misbehaved on various aspects and had a strict action where they broke the code of conduct. The college was extremely strict with regard to ones behavior, attendance, attitude towards studies, academic record in college.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel rooms were of the best standard, hygiene was maintained at its best by the college management, the rooms were on twin sharing basis. But had the best possible infrastructure. Mess food was very decent, only pure veg food was given in the campus, which in general was a bit of a problem to a few students but with what they had provided it was the best food anyone could provide. After paying he fees no extra fees was to be paid for the hostel as well as the mess fees. Overall it was the best that they provided.

Alumni/Alumna

On the personal level I knew seniors and alumini which really helped me a lot also there is a alumni website only for the alumni of the college which gives an opportunity to interact and connect with the alumni of the college. Also yearly meets happen which gives a very good opportunity to connect with alumni which is a positive aspect.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was like, it was a combination of assignments to be done before exams and exams. That is internal as well as external. In internals there were presentations, assignments, live projects which we had to present to the faculty and the final exams. Therefore it was a continuous process of working with different perspectives which really got the best out of a student.

Admission

I filled up the admission form online after my CET results, later on I was called for GDPI round after I was asses in my interview. The admission process had a Group discussion and a personal interview which Was a sort of grilling process but I learnt a lot from it.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty were highly qualified and rich in experience, for example the chairman of our college was the ex dean of IIM Ahmedabad, she made sure the other faculty was of a particular standard, most of them were from IIMS and other top institutes of the country, also many faculty were international faculty, the faculty were more than willing to interact with the students,, also our long hours of projects and assignments helped us get in touch with them at any point of time. Therefore it was the best faculty that we got I believe.

Placement Experience:

The placements depend upon which Specialization you're in. If you're a marketing student there will be lots of good companies coming in for placements followed by finance and then HR. You become eligible for placement from 3rd semester. Companies such as Deloitte, PWC, TCS, HCL, etc. visit the campus for placements and offer a good amount of Packages.

College management is not that good, which I felt is need to be improved. making everything student centric makes it difficult for students as well as college to be organised.

We learned a lot from the curriculum and the college itself. My journey was a mixed bag of feelings with many sweet and sour moments. The classroom sessions were fun and so were the field visits and management activities like webinars or mock marketing competitions.

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.

The university gives you a great exposure to shape up your life for a great future. There's absolutely no racism and everyone is treated equally. This is the only institute in pune where girls and boys are found in almost equal numbers. In fact girls are encouraged to become entrepreneurs.
