In the field of statistics, we have many opportunities, So I chose this course. In our college our faculty are very supportive, our faculty are much qualified, all faculty are minimum Masters completed in our college, the exam is taken in a fixed time stating 2 months then you give mid sem after 4 months end-sem.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 41850 per year

Internships Opportunities

In our college St. Xavier's College Ranchi, we have opportunities for internships for students, many companies offered our college, and we have offered data collection in statistics for internships, we got two types of internship programs unpaid and paid.

Placement Experience

In our college, students get eligible for placement in six semesters. Many companies visited our college for placement, our college average package is 800000 in our college likely 70% of students get the opportunity to get a placement, and I plan to get a master's in statistics.

Fees and Financial Aid

In our college and our department of statistics our fees are about 42000 and you got a minimum cost for Hostel in college and private Hostel are also low cost, in our college we have a scholarship name e Kalyan.

Campus Life

Our college is famous for a fest annual fest which is conducted in February months, in our college we have a central library for study as well as take books for 15 days and again you renew for 15 days, in our college many types of sports like football, volleyball and so many. We have one indoor game we have many social clubs like geo clubs.

Admission

First, apply form give entrance to the college then College provides a cutoff list when I give the entrance exam cutoff for statistics for general 70 marks for OBC 58 marks, and for st/sc 42 marks, when you got cutoff marks then get admission to the college.

Placement Experience:

Semester 4h students are eligible for campus placement. TCS , WIPRO ACCENTURE and too many companies are visited college and minimum 60 to 70% percent student get placed. 60 to 70% percent student get placed. If i get the jod from campus placement and self then i perscue job with higher education, if i doesn't get the campus placement then i prepare for central and NIT college entrance test .

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the beginning of my 11th and 12th standard I'm very fond of Physics and mathematics that's why I choose to persue honours in physics and also there are more opportunities and jobs after bsc in physics compared to other streams. In bokaro steel city college the faculty: student ratio is not that great(1 per 250 students) as it is managed by state government. The qualification of teachers is above average (Almost every teacher has a P.hd) but the quality of teaching is not that great. Teachers often miss there classes and there way of teaching is very boring. On usual exams are taken in a interval of 6 to 8 months. But due to covid situation the exams got very much delayed l mean upto 10 to 12months. If you can complete the syllabus just by having few glances of the topics and follow the previous year question its quite easy to pass the examination by securing good marks. But most of the students always fail (almost 50% every semester).

Remarks:

In reality, this college has more negative remarks than positive. Some good part is that it has some great teachers. Their best course is B.Com for which it is famous. They organise some sports tournament that is appreciable. Overall good college to complete your degree and make Foundation.

My memorable journey of St. Xavier's, College, Ranchi.

For my course, selection was done on the merit basis. Any student who has completed his high school with 90+ marks in English was eligible for this course. The application form, fees, and dates, everything is appropriately available on the college's website. Yes, if you belong to ST/SC you are given reservation and relaxation in the cutoff. Exans are held regularly in a proper manner. The difficulty level of the exams conducted are moderate to high. Admission process involves both online mad offline process and sometimes takes couple of days. It should be resolved and made easy as students come from far places....Read More
