Course Curriculum Overview :
I personally chose the course because I liked it. The faculty is pretty good. The professor provides great help to improve your skills and the library is also great. There is separate department library and the college library is digital and has a great collection and is one of the most heritage libraries in Kerala. Teachers are well qualified. As it is an autonomous college exams and result publications are more accurate and on time than university exams. the exam can be passed if you put effort
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As it is a govt college there is not such a huge fee structure. You have to pay a set fee of around 2000 which can be shortened to 50 if you have a scholarship. The college provides Egrantz and many other scholarships for financial assistance. Recently many job fairs have occurred in the college
Campus Life :
This college has one of the best college life in Kerala. there are many events and fest which encourage students extracurricular activities. The college library is one of the oldest libraries in Kerala and has a vast collection and is well organised. Classrooms are well maintained and have smart class facilities. The college has a very good sports club and a great ground. There a numerous social clubs and groups which make college social life more interesting
Hostel Facilities :
The college hostel is near the college and provides all basics. The con is that it only has limited accommodation facilities. Hostel admission procedure can be done along with the admission procedure. You can find a lot of other hostel and pg facilities near the college
Admission :
As the college is autonomous you have to apply for it through the college site separately. For applying for the ug level you should pass higher secondary, there is no entrance test and admission is on the basis of a higher secondary score. Reservation (caste, sports, arts) is available. Application forms, fees and other details can be found on the college website.
