Course Curriculum Overview

I want to make my career as a software engineer so I opt for this bachelor of vocation in computer applications here faculty members are so good they are professors and Ph.D. qualified here term exams are based on class activities and easy for a good score.

Here many companies offer internship facilities to students like Internshala and many other tech companies where students can work as web developers digital marketing editors and many other tech-related works.

Placement Experience

After completing graduation students are eligible for campus placement nearly 40% of students got campus placement after completing graduation highest average package by a company offered by students is nearly 120000 per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

Here fees are taken per semester and for the first semester fees are around 33000 including 5000 one-time fees for the second semester fees reduce to 5000 one-time fees and become 28000 and you can apply for the national scholarship scheme.

Here campus is very good for students campus provides a pure study environment there library facilities are very good here two types of libraries available one central library and another is a cyber library where we can study.

Admission

You have to give an entrance exam name CUET This examination is conducted by NTA. You have to clear 12 examinations with 50%marks here category reservation allow and sports and employee ward and also relaxation for pwd candidates.

After 5 or 6 semester the students are eligible to get campus placement in different companies. Many companions were xame like nestle, sudha, etc. The highest pakage us about 20 lakh/ anum and average package is 5-10 lakh per anum. There is about 80% change of placement of sudents number.

If you're thinking of taking vocational course then please do not otherwise it's good for other courses.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific aspects : vocational studies are meant to provide practical knowledge and less theoretical , i mainly chose this to be able to learn about Industry earlier. Our curriculum did promise everything but when it comes to providing actual practical experience they just take our money and in return just put us with the BA/BSc students and we have to study alongside them without any special course and the theory was supposed to be 30% but in reality they only teach theory throughout the year and it covers 70% of our grade. Area of improvement: better internship opportunities, actually teaching the practical aspects written in the syllabus. Some of the bvoc courses do get internships but not computer application. Timimg of exams are alright not very frequent as per se, difficulty level is medium.

The reality of BVoc computer applications in BHU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum prepared is great . But the follow up is pathetic. They are not teaching any practical knowledge as written in the curriculum. They really need to provide us a fixed faculty based on our course. We should be provided classes and teachers of our course not some random research scholars. They don't complete the syllabus but will take exams in just one to one and half months i have completed two years here and currently I am giving mid sem exams of sem 5. Now you can imagine how it is here.the only proa here is that you will get a degree of BHU that's it .

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placement. The companies visited in my course that is Bachelor of vocation in Retail and logistic management is Tata, Flipkart, Decathlon ,Amazon, TVS etc. The highest packages in my course is 400000 per annum and the lowest packages offered company 2.5 lakh per annum There are 40% of student get campus placed and other are placed in out campus. My my plan after getting the degree is to job in reputed company and with the job I do MBA also.

Banaras Hindu University has some problems like slow paper work, old building in some parts and things taking time to get fixed but still there something special about it. The campuses big and peaceful and you meet student from all over India which makes the experience interesting .Even though the system isn't perfect like a BHU teachers you a lot not just from book but from people and moments. There are fests,group studies, late night chai and walk under the tree that you will remember for long time. I just applied for BHU and not any other colleges because of BHU legacy and good name.
