Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course curriculum looks very old. As my course is professional and need practical knowledge apart from theoretical knowledge we need practice materials. Which are not there. Placement cell is not that much good. You have to find internships or jobs on your own.

Internships Opportunities

2

Internship opportunities are available in the campus. I don't know about the other courses but in my course they give internship opportunities but these opportunities are not top notch of the field. If we are coming to India's renowned university then we expect our training in best firms of the industry. We did search internship on our own.

Fees and Financial Aid

If we compare our fee structure with other courses then there's a bitter pill to swallow. But we swallow thebpill by thinking that our course is professional unlike other courses by which we are comparing. Also i haven't heard about campus scholarship but I got scholarship by UP government. Yes, there are schemes like “earn while learn” are in fucntion

Campus Life

1.5

Campus Life is full of peace as this campus is located in the arms of nature. But if your coming in this campus then forget about social events or club involvement as there are 1-2 clubs exist in this campus. I don't know but I guess the student advisor doesn't support making clubs or societies as it needs budget to function. They are not ready to spend on societies or clubs

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Hostel facility is pathetic. We 3 boys were living in a 8*8 single room and they gave us 2 cupboards. How were supposed to live ? Also the crowd is not that good because of the violence/ fights occur once in a week because of useless reasons.

Admission

I gave CUET including subjects like English and General test which were needed in this course to clear the cutoff. And then I applied on the official site of BHU for this course and the counseling process were too slow that time. And I felt that they were doing scams in giving admission. Those who were supposed to go main campus with their good cutoff couldn't go. The number of admissions were too less but the applications were good in numbers. I don't know the insights but they definitely do scam in counselling process.

Faculty

3

As this is the second campus of Banaras Hindu University which is one of the renowned universities of India. The faculty members of every course are quite good and have great knowledge in their own field except some of pathetic teachers who don't know how to teach neither have knowledge about their course

I chose this college as BHU is the central university and it gives most of the better facilities in study area. BHU itself is a brand that makes a person to get attracted towards it.The thing i like the most about this college is the peaceful environment. And the reason of opting the course is that fashion designing(b.voc) is my interest and it is well understood topic for me so that i can build my better career.
