Nice College but canteen needs improvement

An average college If you get a good bunch of friends then life is awesome Staff os always there to be your enemy If you avoid the canteen n staff a good place to spend 4 years of Engineering and get a bag full of memories

Nice course better then, doing only electronics engineering Wide range of subjects Many placements available after this course You can be placed in electronics Electronics and telecommunications Telecommunication sector Computers sector Many placement opportunities open through this course future scope for masters is also wide

No internships are not provided by the college as its not autonomous cource Mumbai university dosent have internship option here

Placements very less company come to the college but you are allowed to attend placements at KJ Somaiya College of Engineering which opens up the placement opportunity for all. But frankly KJ Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology lacks in placement Hardly 20-25% students are placed. Poor packages

There are two fest celebrated im college One is the tech fest which comes in month of September Other is the cultural fest in the month of february Tech fest is organised by Ieee And iete Cultural is the normal college fest by students with days celebrated Dance performance Singing and dj nite

Fee was near about 1,00,000(one lakh rupees) Which was completely not justifying the college The fee structure had 7% hikr every year Except for fees you need to pay money for exam forms as well The fee is nearly the same fee of somaiya vidyavihar But the faculty and facilities are never the same

Scholorship for obc and other backward classes is available they have an awesome few discount Their 4 year study expense is just 1,00,000 fee of a general category admitted student Gujarati minority is available but for income under 2.5 lakhs You can always opt for education loans from banks

Campus oh theres no campus at all Just an empty ground for parking cars The gender ratio in electronics and telecommunications is too odd 90:10 for guys and girls All caste crowd is found here Maximum is maharashtrians and obc U may find 10-15 gujjus special thanks to minority seats for them.

Theres no mess nor hostel facility are there You may get renting options and food cook by your self or tiffin services or order fro restaurants or ask your best buddy to bring extra tiffin There are hostels near matunga dadar and renting options in a group of 4-5 in apartments Lokmanya nagar near college is famous for house rents

Exams are every 6 months held by university i.e semester pattern You have vivas term work practicals and writing papers Term work and writing papers comprises of 100 marks in total 80 for writing papers and 20 for termwork Writing papers go on for month long Vivas are week long And practicals are 2-3 subjects per semester You have two unit tests as well.

Filling online form on college website submitted the demand draft and form was called for cap rounds and got admission Form notification was put around July end when diploma results were out and admission process had started in month of August ended by August mid and college started very next day

Okay okay faculty Faculty belives in tit for tat Specially during viva and submissions Never a student friendly faculty You will always be having fights with 1-2 faculty Even the lab incharges are too dramatic here More scenarios created by them only You can say "chai se jyada ketki garam hai" Faculty behaves kiddish If you are of their same caste then its lottery for you!! And kutchi gujaratis its a nightmare for them
