Remarks

At last I would say if you had other choices than don't even think about this college. But if you had no choices n you just want to graduate in engineering than it is best choice.

Entrance Preview

Since the G.B.PANT is affiliated to GGSIPU, so u need to go through the entrance exam conducted by the university. In that entrance exam I got around 4000 rank(dont remember the exact number) which is quite good to get the government college. I opt for this college because its nearer to my home side and also because its government college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Well everybody knows B.TECH is a professional course n you have so much things to do in. I opt Electronics And Communication because I want to do something big in it. I love my all subjects. Every time I go through my subjects I found something new which is quite amazing.

Internships Opportunities

College doesn't provide any kind of scholarship however you can get MOMA scholarship which is given by the government, which depends upon the course n fee structure. In my case it was 25k and I only got it in the last year.

Placement Experience

1.5

I can only say placement cell is worse. If you are in GBPEC don't make fool urself you will get the job in the final year. Only few companies came for the recruitment and they are for other branches like mechanical n computer. Only few student got the job n rest are jobless. Few companies are Maruti-6lac/annum Infosys - around 3lac/annum Godrej- around 5lac/annum

College Events

2

Lots of events took place in the college n I hate them all accept the sport fest named FORTIUS. Fests are not quite big but so many people participate in them. There was a technical fest named INCEPTEM in which large no of student enrolled. Apart from these so many other fest was there but I don't know much about them. Some other functions like independence day were also celebrated but at small scale.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I am very satisfied by the fee of the college. It is 35k per annum which is I think quite feasible if we compare it to other institutions. Other friends of mine use to pay much greater amount nearly double as the fee. The fee structure was comprised as tuition fee, library fee, other fee etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship offered by the college accept MOMA which is given by the government. Since the fee is very less so I don't think any body needed any kind of loan but our college doesn't provide any kind of loan.

Campus Life

2

Since I hate all type of fest, functions, parties so I can't say about that. I don't know the gender ratio. I had 6 or 7 girls in a batch of 70 students. So I think gender ratio is very low. Apart from this I hardly saw any issues regarding religion, politics etc.

Hostel Facilities

2

There was no hostel in the college which is bad thing. I had no problem coz I I use to live in delhi but some of the students were from other states so thay had lots of problem. Some use to live in PGs and some use to live on rent. The average rent was 6k to 7k other than the electricity bill, nearly same amount was charged for the PGs as well.

Alumni/Alumna

I don't even know any of my senior, alumni network is worse. There was hardly any interaction between seniors n juniors.

Exam Structure

Exams are conducted by the university itself . Its like our board exam where you get a center. In the same manner we get a center, college wise, in which we had to go to other colleges of the university. The question paper is quite similar to the previous year paper. You have to get 50 out of 75 to get rid of back. I hate to attend the labs they were quite hectic. I feel lab work is useless because we had perform some old fashioned experiments.

Admission

At first I don't want to apply for this college but later my friends forced me to apply so I bought the form from the INDIAN BANK located in Kashmiri Gate fill it n successfully posted to the university. After some time entrance took place, which is very easy and I got good rank. I had no choice because this was the only exam where I got some good rank so I have to go to it. After so long the counseling schedule had been posted by the university on their site. On those days counseling is offline, now a days they made it online. So on the mentioned date I went to the university which is situated in Dwarka n got the admission in the college. I found the admission process to be simple. They had a giant screen on which number of colleges n their seat status was flashing, what u have to do is just be aware of college of your interest n when your turn came get the admission.

Faculty

4

G.B.PANT Comes under Delhi government due to which all the faculties are well qualified. Some of them are M.TECH n some are PHDs. Most of the faculty is NET qualified so they had deep knowledge of subjects. They are quite strict in the class and you have to be punctual to attend their classes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the cse program as it is the need of the hour and is in great demand nowdays. In coming years ai and tech are the only things that will be superior. I think in my opinion the teaching style should be changed in some ways so as to make student engage and be interested in class.
