The course curriculum for computer science and engineering is very well crafted by the professors. Almost everything that is required for your future is included in the courses. Professors are well-experienced and are experts in their fields.

Internships Opportunities

There are tons of companies and opportunities for students to get internships. About 200+ companies will acquire students from nit Warangal every year. Stipends are also high. Some of the companies are Microsoft -1.25lpm, amazon-1.2lpm, Goldman Sachs - 1.5lpm and many more. Normal preparation, of course, subjects is enough to grab an internship.

Placement Experience

We can say placements are the head of this campus. This year we have 1500+ placements with an average package of 35lpa (cse) which is greater than many iits. Almost every company comes for placement as well as for an internship. Almost every cse student will get an internship and also will be placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are very reasonable in comparison to other nits and iits. There are several scholarships, one of the unique scholarship nit Warangal provides is a merit scholarship with a fee waiver. Placements here are far better than at many colleges including IIT Hyderabad.

Campus Life

We have several clubs and the students here are very friendly. You can check for eligibility and apply for any club you wish. You can learn and experience the real-time world through clubs and associations.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels inside the campus are good enough. Food is average. The room has an internet facility. Room allocation will be conducted online and students can choose the rooms their wish. Bathrooms are average and will be cleaned every day.

Hostel Fee: INR 26000 per year

Admission

Admission is through jee mains. You can apply to Jee mains online. The cutoff for a bachelor of technology in computer science and engineering was around 99.8 percentile or 2000 all India rank in the general category.

Building Skills Beyond the Classroom

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Remembering College Valuble Insights Feels so memorable being a final year student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals,meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

Only 4-1 students are eligible for campus placements Name of companies are infosys, concentrix, foundever, teleperfomance, Sutherland,uts etc in that only few members got opportunity to join in that companies. Highest package is 3-4lakhs All the companies which were came to our clg placements are based on call center types only infosys is IT side remaining all companies came us to take for the roles bpo industry voice based roles and non voice based roles My plans after completing the degree to search for the job

Honest review on KMIT

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Nice college but lot of improvements are required

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
