Likes

College is very good and we have overall amazing experience
Events organised here are very nice and we all enjoyed it
Laboratories are very nice and we can have good exposure

Dislikes

Faculties are somewhat less interested in teaching students
Placements are mainly done by college students only, faculty is not helping in it
Sports are given less focus here , it should be given more

Course Curriculum Overview

Electrical was a good subject and it is also a good branch too .. Student ratio is like we have 10 girls and 60 boys in the class. Faculty was government selected and experienced but if we have to learn, we have to do it on our own mostly. Exams are somewhat delayed and it is tough to pass

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 17000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are very minimal and so we can afford it. Also, our hostel fees are very less ( approx 7000 rs per year so it is also very comfortable). Yes, the Digital Gujarat scholarship is available and also MYSY scholarship is there so students can apply for it.

We have 4 events handled by us. 1) Prerna (Asia's largest disabled fest). 2) Paramarsh (It is a non-tech event) 3) Footprints (the largest tech fest ). 4) Junoon ( a sports event for MSU ) Here we have also a political group named VVS.

Admission

Admission was based purely on merit, we have to appear and score good marks in the 12th board exam (60%) and GUJCET (40%). Yes, there was a reservation. No improvement is needed in the admission process the application fees are 1500 rs and we have to fill out the form of GUJCET.

College placement is very good in my college. Also some students whose parents has background in civil engineering are coming only for Degree. There are many companies visited . Some are Adani, wipro , ultratech etc. highest package is may be 18LPA and average is 4.5LPA and it is depending upon branch. It is depend upon students. Student with Good project and good Score in semesters are getting placements. I am looking for placements.

Admission in this Gujarat's top university is through two exams one is GUJCET and other is via JEE MAINS as per engineering is concerned. Also it's one of the best university you can get into. to take entry in this course one must have average score in main 3 subjects of science, maths and english. if he or she is from diploma than he or she must have cgpa more than 8. for entering this university one should pass the entrance exam called NATA .
