Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is excellent as it is managed by the University JUT (the Jharkhand University of Technology Ranchi ) Faculties are also qualified and the overall teaching standard is good. The faculty-student ratio is 1:12. The examination is conducted on time as per the basis of the University academic calendar.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is the overall average. The scholarship scheme is available for reserved category students through e-kalyan by govt. of Jharkhand The overall cost to study is good. Less possibility of financial assistance. Campus placement is also conducted with more opportunities for CSE, and ECE whereas fewer opportunities for core branch students.

Campus Life

Life on campus is good. There is a fest name Genesis which is the annual fest of the college but for the past few years due to the pandemic, it has not been organized till now. Availability of Books and journals are there in Library.

Admission

The admission process is quite easy it can be availed in two ways either from the state entrance counseling or from the direct college admission. For state counseling the JCECEB releases a form that can be accessed from its site after filling the application form, the entrance exam is conducted by the board and then after the counseling process, the students can visit the college with the allotment letter for the admission process. The eligibility for admission in regular btech is 12th from any recognized board in India and may or may not appear for jee mains conducted by NTA and the eligibility for lateral btech enrollment is to pass out a diploma in engineering from any AICTE-approved Institute.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

According to my perspective or point of view students initiate preparing for placement cells in 3rd year ( 5th semester). The highest package of our college is 14 LPA And average package is 3.4 LPA. Approx 72 %students got placed in different different companies like tcs, wipro, accenture etc.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.
