Remarks

Apart from the work load that you get and the assignments to complete, things would be great for you at Amity. Too much to learn and too much to absorb if you have a will to.

Entrance Preview

I gave MAT examination for getting though Amity. I was earlier opting for IBS Hyderabad, but after learning about the campus location, the faculty, hostel, teaching styles and most importantly the package after you graduate, I found that Amity could be another option for pursuing MBA looking into the fact that I live in Delhi and travelling to Amity would be a much easy affair.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

As perceived earlier, I initially thought that I am not going to learn much here and do most of the time pass(inspite of being a topper in Graduation). But I had to face the hard reality - the curriculum killed all students. So much to do and even more to learn. We had 10 subjects each semester and all needed 6/10 CGPA to get the degree. The knowledge transfered by professors started overflowing after sometime.

Internships Opportunities

The internships were arranged by college, but I chose a different way - I went outside for that. And ofcourse, if you do it on your own, you are not getting a stipend. However, companies like KPMG had come to offer internship and they gave stipend around 10-15K.

Placement Experience

4.5

Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, Facebook, Religare, HDFC etc. ccame to rescue the students after they were completing their MBA and offered packages between 3.5 - 12 Lacs to the 95% students who got placeed (rest joined their own businesses)

College Events

5

AYF is the most famous event that takes place in Amity and it is a 15 days long marathon which includes a lot of cultural, management and technical sub-events in it. I had attended so many events and workshops in Amity that if I start writing here, it will take me a day and i would still miss some.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since a lot of facilities are offered here, the fee structure is a little expensive. I myself took an education loan from national bank to pursue my MBA. just like me, a lot of other students took loan to do MBA. The admin would do each and everything to help you take the loan. they will provide you every document required by bank to let you take loan.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is offered in both the semesters to the top scorers upto 50% (or even more, I dont remember)

Campus Life

4

Gender ratio - 50%, Hostel Parties - a lot, workshops - so many that your days would fly without you knowing that 2 years are over, cultural societies and tolerance with regards to gender - 100%, ethnicity - when required, religion - no discrimination as each and every festival is celebrated to fullest, politics - not amongst students

Hostel Facilities

2.5

the hostel and mess are absolute mess. The food from regular mess is just like any other hostel food, but the good part is that you have Subway, Dominos, McDonalds and Amity's own restaurants in the campus where you can go and have a ball. The wardens are

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors have been supportive and the alumni interaction network is very much open for you. you can reach them and discuss things. No worries. In the very first 3 days of orientation, you would be introduced to few succesfull Alumnis who have succeeded in their lives. You are open to interact with them and share your thoughts and ask any questions.

Exam Structure

1 unit test, 1 mid year test and 1 mains. They leave you exhaustive once you end a semester. the labs classes and exams' frequency is quite high. Lab classes are chilled out but examinations are going to make you sweat like anything.

Faculty

4.5

The professors had always been very supportive in all the ways. Let it be your course related problem or you having difficulty in preparing a project; every professor is ready to help you in best way they can. Not forgetting that experienced people can al
