Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because of my urge to leaning computer technologies which are evolving at a great pace these days. There is a total of 10 faculties in our department. The student strength is around 100. The faculties are well qualified with good teaching skills. The end-term exams are taken on time and they aren't that hard to pass.
Placement Experience
From semester 5 onwards students are encouraged to sit for placement opportunities. Companies like Deloitte, Wipro, TCS and many others usually visit the campus. The percentage of students getting placed is less because students mostly prefer to go for masters after the completion of this course to have an upper hand over getting a job in the industry. Similarly, I have also planned to go for the masters after the completion of this course.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost to study is not too high here, the total expenditure for the complete 3 years is around 1.7 lacs. The students except the general category enjoy the e-Kalyan scholarship by the Jharkhand government and the general category students can also avail of any scholarship if they find any.
Campus Life
The fest is conducted every year but after the corona outbreak, it's not been arranged yet the next year it will resume. The fest is conducted in the month of February or march. The library is well organised and maintained, there is one central library and we have a dedicated library for our department having a good book hold. Our classrooms are well equipped with smart boards and projectors. The college conducts its annual sports meet and also conducts many sports and events spontaneously. There are many clubs and groups run by students of various departments focusing on various activities being conducted on the college campus.
Admission
The eligibility criteria are that you must have scored 50% in aggregate having maths as a subject with at least 45% marks in your intermediate exam. The details of the application form, fees and dates are published on the official site of the college itself i.e. sxcran.org. There is no such reservation benefit here. The process is unbiased.
