Likes

It has a Great campus . It has a lush green campus of 250 acres.
It's placements are very good . You can expect a super dream offer if you are good in studies.
Teachers here are very good and very helpful.

Dislikes

Sports facility is less which is getting improved .
Gym facility is very poor . It has a small gym which is in block 1 only.
Crcl mess is not up to the mark it's food is good but sometimes not good.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is computer science engineering specializing in cyber security and digital forensics. It has a high demand and a great salary in the future. Teachers are highly qualified and up to 95% of teachers are doctorates. They have a high experience of in teaching.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 198000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I am a first-year student and I do not know deeply about internship opportunities but the little bit which I know that internship opportunities are good but it depends on the student. The college also takes on industrial visits to students in the third year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Category 1 fees are 2 lakh and category 2 fees are 3 lakh, category 3 fees are 4 lakh, category 4 fees are 4.5 lakh and category five fees are 5 lakh. I am in the first year so I didn't do any internships, etc. Scholarships are based on the VITEEE entrance exam.

Campus Life

The annual fest in VIT Bhopal is Advitya. It goes on for three days in the last day of Advitya actress Shirley Setia is invited to Advitya 2023 on the first-day laser light show, on the second-day dance competition are big events, and the rest are small events like a murder mystery, cross the hurdle are some games and have prizes.

Hostel Facilities

I am charged 97999 for 7 months. A caution deposit which is refundable 15000 rupees is added in 97999 which will be refunded after graduation. Mess is mahiti caters extremely great mess. Crcl is also good but not comparable with Mayuri.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

The admission process is through the VITEEE entrance exam. In the first round students from rank 1 to rank 20000 are selected for counselling. In the second phase, students from rank 20001 to 40000 are selected for counselling. In the third phase, students from rank 40001 to 75000 are selected for counselling. In the fourth phase students from rank 75001 to 100000 are selected for counselling and in the last phase, all students above 1lakh rank get a chance for counselling.

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
