Likes
- College had various events and seminars that promote overall development of the student.
- Faculties are supportive and help students with their activites and work.
- In every semester we had 4 exams. one was internal exam which was online and was mcq of first 2 untis from each subject. it was for 10 marks. after it was research presentation exams next was pratical and the exam was theory of complete syllbus.
Dislikes
- Work life balance can be hektic in college. On some days we had practicals till 6:30 in the evening even though our first lec was at 11:00.
- The seminars were in so much succession that we never had chance to sit back and rest it.
- College campus is rather clustered. with around 5 buildings and the only seting place there is near canteen.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was fond of computers as well as coding so, I went on with Bachelor's in Science in Information Technology. We had 6 semesters of 4-5 months each in a span of 3 years. For each semester we have 5 subjects. so we had 5 different faculty for each subject. Most of the faculty had done their masters in the same course namely Master in Science IT.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of the college was like this since I joined in 2020 which was corona period, we had a fee of 28k for the first year. later for the second year, it was hiked up to 30k and for the last year, it was 33k. In terms of fees, college was rather reckless cause we approached them various times, for the first and second years they did give us some relief like we can pay fees in 2 installments. but for the third year more than half of the class was opposing the college yet, they did not give us the fee relief facility like the first and second years.
Campus Life
For my first and second years, there were no fests or any such thing as was covid period. But for the last year, we had various events like Feat-O-Beat formally known as ignite Patkar's famous event. then later we had our sports day, annual function, and various other events during the month of December to January. social life on the campus was great and the infrastructure is big but rather clustered.
Admission
Since my course was BSc.IT or Bachelor in Information technology. We had one main criterion for admission, which was our maths marks in 12th standard. That was the one and the only criterion for getting into this college. Since my maths marks were less, my name was seen in the third merit list.
