Likes

The college Campus was pretty good. Infrastructure is also made very beautifully.
College Canteen is the best place. The food taste is just like home.
Library is also very good. We can get every type of informative books here.

Dislikes

There is a little too much discipline here
If we get absent for more than 3-4 days then we have to get an application sign by our Vice principal.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose to study here because it is nearby my home and is also one of the best colleges in Ranchi. There were 100 students in my class and all were very friendly. We lived like a family. The teachers were also very sweet.

Internships Opportunities

We get short-term computer courses here like Tally, etc and during this course, we get internship opportunities which we can do after college timings and we also get paid for it which is pretty cool.

Placement Experience

Not many placement opportunities we get but this college makes us ready for the outside world. Weekly we have extra activities done like PPT presentations, speech giving, etc for boosting our confidence.

Fees and Financial Aid

In my course B.COM Hons. the fee is 18000 per semester and there are 8 semesters as per Ranchi University. It is a 4-year course. In this college, we get short-term computer courses which help in getting internships. Placement is average here. Better than other colleges.

Campus Life

There are many functions which happen here and students can take participate and enjoy them. No tech fest or annual fest happens but still, it is okay. The classrooms are pretty good. We have smart boards, a mic and all types of facilities available which a good college should have. The campus is also beautiful and also it provides hostel facilities.

Admission

The admission process was pretty easy. We can get the form online and if you fulfil the terms & conditions required for the course then you can easily get admission here. The fee is low for OBCs, ST & SCs as compared to General category students. There is no entrance exam required for Hons. Subjects but maybe you have to give entrance exams for some vocational courses.

The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

A Modest College Life , Learning & Limitations

Placement Experience:

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.

Best College Nirmala College Ranchi.

I had applied in two colleges. One is Nirmala college and other is Gossenor college Ranchi.
