Entrance Preview

Admission is only through entrance test of JEE. I do not remember the score I got. It is one of the best engineering institutes in India plus it is located in my home town so i decided to choose this college only.

Internships Opportunities

For internships there are lots of companies which visits our campus. I was not selected in anyone. Like qualcomm, goldmann sachs etc. general stipend offered is around 20k per month and the internship period is around 2-3 months.

Placement Experience

Yes, Bengal Institute of Technology and Management provides placement and job opportunities. Placements scenario is very good. Many companies visited campus this year and offered a good amount of package to students. 80 % students have been placed so far.

Campus Life

Students of engineering stream require a strong base of practical and computer knowledge. that’s why BITM as emphasized on giving the students a stronghold on computer operations and practical operations of other equipments since its inception. The institutions are well equipped with various labs.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni meet happens every year which is a good platform to meet the alumni and take advice from them. They are very kind and cooperative. Senior students also help whenever required.

Faculty is very nice and cooperative. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable persons. They clear doubts in the class itself not like others who gets annoyed sometimes. They do help whenever required.

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

I took addmission to this college by the means of WBJEE exam. It would be more better and economical to visit the college itself and talk about addmission and course fees, the general fee for B.tech CSE in the year 2021 was 2,50,000.
