Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course based upon my interest in this field. The faculty to student ratio isnt great as there are very few professors for a batch of over 100 students. The curriculum for the 2023-2026 batch has been revised and it includes more practical based subjects which is a major improvement. All semester exams require a faculty feedback form to be filled for the admit cards to be generated. The difficulty level of exams has been medium right from first semester till the last semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
Availing scholarship for students is easy as it is merit based and is applied automatically after submission and acceptance of your application. students with 95 and more than 95% in their 12th standard results avail full fee waiver. The fee structure for this course increases with each year. If the grades are maintained per semester the scholarship continues for the student.
Campus Life
There are not many university level clubs and societies which actively hold events on campus. each institute has their clubs however, speaking about the clubs in AIFS, they are mostly dormant. Sports clubs on the other hand are more active and the annual sports fest Sangathan is a fest that is held on a large scale. The central library of the campus has 3 floors. There is availability of individual cubicles for students to study. Classrooms are not big enough to hold a class size of 50.
Admission
The admission process was rather simple. I applied through an admission microsite that was on the main page of amity website and submitted my 10th and 12th marksheets and admit cards. based upon my results, I was not only given admission to my course but also a 50% waiver on the first year fee.
