I applied to multiple other universities as well, but I chose JGU because the university has top-notch faculty from abroad as well who hold PHDs from highly reputable universities. Most of my professors had PHDs from IITs and NIMHANS. JGU is very well known for it's global partnerships and study abroad programs, which make it a highly networked university as well. The campus is very secure and vibrant, which attracted me to it. Admission to JGU is not very difficult and can be achieved by most students. The fundamental reason I chose this college is because of the course it has provided with regard to Public Policy, there is an amazing investment in the college resources and it really aids in placement, I chose this college over TISS and St.Xavier's due to its proximity to Delhi and opportunities the alumni and the faculty. I had applied to NMIMS Bangalore and BITS Law School and had managed to secure a seat in both the colleges but Jindal was better ranked globally for law and was very well reputed in the field of law in comparison to the alternative options. The admission for Jindal law school was only through LSAT examination and a percentile of 80 and above gives a good shot at cutting it.
