What Students Say
Likes
- the infrastructure and the social life in the university
Dislikes
- the connectivity to the nearest city and heavy security
Course Curriculum Overview
the faculty-student ratio is largely 1:40 for my course. the faculty are highly qualified and the professors are extremely friendly and approachable. the term exams are advanced, for which constant preparation is required
Placement Experience
the placements at my colleagues are good. for economics, most students prefer to pursue further studies before looking for a job. I have heard from my seniors that the packages are great. prominent industry-leading companies can be found looking for students as far as placements are concerned
Fees and Financial Aid
the fees are slightly steep, and the fee hike policy is about 5% up from the previous year. however, there are plenty of scholarship opportunities depending on academic and sporting merit. campus jobs are not a thing here.
Campus Life
Biswamil is the annual fest in our college, and Magnus is the annual sports fest. The infrastructure of this residential campus is highly developed. There are plenty of sports you can play here, including a spacious gym to work out
Hostel Facilities
the hostel rooms are spacious enough with proper ventilation. they also are equipped with ACs to deal with the heat in the summer. the meals in the mess are nutritious and delicious. each food item is labelled properly and there's plenty of variety daily
Admission
The admission process was quite simple. for the economics course, there were not any prerequisite subject requirements to make the application process more inclusive. I had to write an entrance test called JSAT which tested aptitude skills, after which there was an interview.
