Course Curriculum Overview

I was fond of physics, so I opted for mechanical and being a reputed government college I chose it. The faculty-student ratio is about 0.5. Most of the professors have done mtech and Ph.D. from renowned institutes. Exams are quite difficult and so mostly grades are usually on the lower side. Basically, the university has a semester system wherein you will get the exams during November and April during an academic year.

Class Size: 128Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are too low as it is a government University and there are many scholarship programs like DSW given to the EWS, OBC, SC, and ST. The placement committee works very hard to get companies on board and placements records are also good too.

Campus Life

Life on campus is rejuvenating as we have three national-level events footprints, paramarsh, and Prerna going around the year which keeps the students in touch with various departments and also the various colleges

Admission

So it takes a 60-40 ratio out of which board exam is given 60% weightage and GUJCET is given 40% weightage and accordingly, ACPC ranking is found out for general it the cutoff rank was 1400 for OBC 3000 and for SC ST it was around 17000. The application can be done through ACPC.

College placement is very good in my college. Also some students whose parents has background in civil engineering are coming only for Degree. There are many companies visited . Some are Adani, wipro , ultratech etc. highest package is may be 18LPA and average is 4.5LPA and it is depending upon branch. It is depend upon students. Student with Good project and good Score in semesters are getting placements. I am looking for placements.

Admission in this Gujarat's top university is through two exams one is GUJCET and other is via JEE MAINS as per engineering is concerned. Also it's one of the best university you can get into. to take entry in this course one must have average score in main 3 subjects of science, maths and english. if he or she is from diploma than he or she must have cgpa more than 8. for entering this university one should pass the entrance exam called NATA .
