Remarks

A mediocre college the exam section and staff both teaching and non-teaching are not co-operative except a few not recommended unless you have no other option.

Entrance Preview

I appeared for MH-CET engineering and scored around 108/200 the college has Hindi speaking minority and 50% seats are reserved for that the remaining 50% seats are filled by CAP round admission is based on the CET score only no interview to be cleared.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The college is affiliated to the university of mumbai hence the syllabus and examinations are as per the University. It is a 4 year course and involves 8 semesters first year is common for all students second year onward they are divided into departments as at thetime of admission.

Internships Opportunities

There are few companies that come and offer internships most of them offer a stipend of less than 5000 or are unpaid students are not very enthusiastic about internships. Most of the intersted ones find it on their own.

Placement Experience

2

The placement is not very good overall most of the companies that come to the college are into software it the placement is around 25% the maximum salary offered is around 3.5 lakhs per annum.

College Events

3.5

There are 2 main events conducted every year tech zephyr and cultural zephyr 1 during each semester apart from these different events like national level paper presentation and few more department level events are conducted.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is expensive it is more than twice the fees in government college approximately 80,000 per annum it is increased every year for the new batch.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarships loans provided by college however there is a scholarship by government that can be availed by minority communities given no backlogs.

Campus Life

2.5

The gender ratio is 1:8 girls:boys labs are okay not very well equipped the college festivals are well organised and well attended the fresher's party or farewell is not worth mentioning most students are not interested in co-curricular or extra-curricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

There was no hostel recently they have started a boys hostel it costs approximately 5000 per month the canteen food is really bad unhealthy poor taste and no hygiene.

Alumni/Alumna

Not much interactions with seniors or alumni there are a few inactive alumnus facebook groups during the course 1-2 talks with alumnus were organised.

Exam Structure

The semester exams both written and practical are conducted as per university guidelines apart from these there are 2 tests conducted by the department evey semester namely unit mid-sem and prelims.

Faculty

3

The faculty is common for 1st year 2nd, 3rd and final year have faculties from the particular stream its is a mix of excellent ok and not very good staff.

The course curriculum is pretty outdated. I am in cybersecurity specialization and there are only 2 subjects(starting from 2nd year) related to cybersecurity.and those courses are good but the faculty teaching them arent that great. they just read out the ppts, which they dont even share.

Placement Experience:

Placements start from final year. Students become eligible in 7th sem. Training sessions begin earlier. Aptitude and coding practice provided. Mock interviews are also conducted. Preparation quality depends on effort. Many service based firms visit. Some product companies also come. Roles include developer and analyst. Support and testing roles common. Core jobs limited for some branches. Multiple offers for top performers. Average package is moderate level. Top packages go to few students. Around half students get placed. Others find off campus jobs. Internships improve placement chances. My plan is skill based job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

That aspect that made me choose this course that the it very oriented with the project based learning which prepare students for the industry level knowledge and ready for the job . It really prepare for the real world problem which are needed in the industry. Some improvements can also be added as the era is of AI the curriculum can be shaped based on the AI for future proof. The frequency of the exam is every 6 months it is very good to have exams every 6 months as students get to check their knowledge on timely basis the difficultly level is manageable.
