Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members are decent. But for the practical knowledge you will have to study on your own. Faculty members are mostly friendly in nature and they try their best to teach you. If you want to go in research work then also you can contact couple of faculties.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 195000 per year

Placement Experience

The plans are only for people who do dsa and study according to their placement cell. For other background students they don't assist students in getting any job. They do have same learning programs in abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a scholarship program for students who are state board toppers. Their studies is covered by the university and their accommodation is also free. Other than that students that come under PMSS, they also get some relief on the fees.

Campus Life

There are a lot of restriction in the college campus which are of no use. Event for outing and leave, you will have to mail a lot of people just to go out for a day. Event they don't allow day scholars on weekends. There is no such infrastructure in this college.

Admission

Due to covid, there were no exams conducted during my admission but my batch was the only batch which came on the basis of 12th marks and JEE results other than that every batch had to go through VITEEE. In Bhopal you can get admission easily at lower ranks as well.

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
