Course Curriculum Overview

For the first year, there are fixed courses we have to do and in the coming years, we can choose to study certain courses. The faculty to students ratio is around 1:18. The faculty are highly qualified professors who dedicated their time to their respective fields. Exams conducted depend on the professor of the course and it's not that hard to pass if put in sufficient effort.

Class Size: 1200Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Placement Experience

Many high-tech companies come here to recruit and IIT Kanpur has one of the highest packages which is around 4 crores this year and also a very good amount of average package of around 20 lakhs. Around 98% of students get placed. I would go for a Master' degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are based on reservation and there are several scholarships available for the students and so many have benefited from them. IIT Kanpur also has a system that can support startups financially also. The job opportunities are also fairly good.

Campus Life

IIT Kanpur has Antaragni(cultural fest), Techkriti(Tech fest) , Udghosh(Sports fest). It's one of the largest campuses in India. There are many clubs related to sports like cricket, football, hockey, etc., and cultural activities like music, dance, fine arts, etc. There are very high-quality sports facilities on the campus.

Admission

I took JEE Advanced 2022 exam and qualified with a category rank of 86 and got Computer science department at IIT Kanpur. The admission process was very smooth and I didn't face problems at all. Seniors of IIT Kanpur helped during our admission process.

Average college not bad and not good

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to become software engineer so that is why i choose B.Tech cse course. And the curriculum is good fit for real world application or further academic pursuits. They majorly focus on practical either than theory knowledge nearly exam occur in every 1 to 2 months and paper difficulty level is average not as much hard and not easy

A good choice for quality education and career growth

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from the 6th and 7th semsester the college has a dedicated placement cell that organise training sessions resume building workshops mock interviews and aptitude class to prepare students for placement Many companies visit the campus every year , including IT and sevice based comapnies . The most common roles offered are software developer technical support, data analytical and trainee enginer. The avaerage package can go upto 7 lakh while the highest package can go upto 52 lakhs . Around 70-80% of students get placed through campus drives while other opt for higher studies , internships or off campus job . The placement process is smooth and well organised bh the college. After completing my degree , i plan to either secure a good job through campus placement or improve my skills for better off campus placement.

KMCLU Lucknow : Experience of Campus and Academics

Placement Experience:

My college has an average placement of 6LPA. Placement eligibility starts from the end of 5th semester, but when I got promoted to 5th semester, placements declined due the the restructuring in placement cell. So our batch missed the opportunity to attend any placements. In year 2022, the highest placement was around 22LPA and in year 2023, it declined to 9 LPA as there was restructuring in team. After getting my degree I will look for carrier opprotunities on my own, as I have not experienced any placement in my college years.

The real life experience of NIET

Placement Experience:

The placement rate is good. From 6 or 7 semester the students elegible for placement The TCS, wipro and many more come and offer good package. The highest package is 51 lakh The percentage is almost about 80% get placed. After degree I got a good job .

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for placements some of the companies which visit are amazon, atlassian, google,etc. According to me the highest package is 53 lpa and the average package is 5 lpa. If you had a great skilled then you can get the placement. I don't know the percentage of student getting placements.

IITK From Sparsh's Perspective

I choose this college becouse of its flexible acdemic structure and its great Alum connections. Also this is the best college i am getting according to my rank and my interest in mathematics. I have Applied for IIT delhi in electronics. IIT Delhi is also a great college but when it comes to academic focus IIT delhi lacks there. Also there faculty administratation is so strict. if a student wants to start something or he/she has a new iniative for the college , he/she will face hard time. So I couldn't make it to IIT Roper CSE branch because my jee adance rank is not that great for the Roper' Computer science. So the Admission process here at IITK is not difficult. You just the originaly document which you have submitted in your josa counselling portal and you need to verify it once here usually a couple opf hours work. Life @ IITK

I chose IIT Kanpur over othe rcooleges because of its academic reputation, research opportunities and strong alumini network. I was also able to get seats in other IITs but I preferred IIT Kanpur due to its legacy . I didn't face rejections, but did not opt for some colleges even after qualifying due to lower research output, weaker placement stats.
