Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course coz this college provides great placements for chemical technology. The course curriculum is not so updated but it is satisfying as it offers a wide carrier scope for the future. The faculty-student ratio is quite good. Most faculties are PhD holders from Iits and some are from reputed institutes in India. There are two mid-semester and one end-semester examination that happen in the interval of one month each. First-year exams are easy to pass but from next year difficulty increases in terms of hard checking as well as questions.
Internships Opportunities
The internships program of our college has a good history as it provides a great opportunity to students many companies have come to the college to provide internships to 2nd and 3rd-year students, for example, patym ADM Exon mobil Maruti Reliance Asian paints etc. Students get a stipend from 5000 to 40000 per month or maybe more.
Placement Experience
The placement cell of our college is very good as it has a great alumni network and it offers placement to students from 3.5 lpa lowest to 55lpa highest with an average of 8.8 LPA. Companies like Reliance, exon mobile, lnt, airtel, cognizant, and Samsung paytm have visited here. Out of eligible students this year 90 percent students have been placed. Some also opt for gate cat upsc and also startups.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are 135000 for each year and 60000 for a hostel. The fee structure is moderate for someone but it contains several scholarship programs for example UP scholarship and Gen EWS scholarship and many more the topper of each branch also gets scholarships. This year in my branch students has got scholarship ranging from 50000 to 95000.
Campus Life
Campus life is very good and there is a great atmosphere among the students of our college. It involves several sports club cultural activities for exp. adhyaay, aarambh, aagaz, technika etc. Last year celebrities like yasser desai, Rahul dua, and Rahul dua have come here along with poets including aseem Azhar. There are various clubs like ASCPC, PSMSC, Aeroclub, Autorob, gruv(dancing) and octave(singing). There is also a coding community here.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are good and the mess food is also average sometimes it is far better and sometimes it is just good students can decide on mess menu according to their interests. Registration happens on the official website costing 18000 per semester. There is also a common room where you can enjoy indoor games, tv, etc
Admission
You are needed to qualify for jee mains. The application form is available on the official website hbtu.ac.in. The admission process was satisfying and it contains 4 rounds of counselling and also an additional round and spot round in which students are selected on the basis of JEE Mains exam rank according to their categories. Query management is needed to be improved.
