Remarks

Good remark is that the college has nice atmosphere and bad remark is that there is no placement directly from college. Yes they are helpful and were the best seniors. They helped whenever we needed them and are also in touch now.

Entrance Preview

I took admission in this college on the basis of JEE Mains and scores of my graduation degree was also very nice so i got admission in this college very easily.

Internships Opportunities

There was placement cell and there were many companies that came for the placement and that too for other branches not not for mine. But the previous year there were 2- 3 companies who came for my branch. The package given by the companies was in the range of 3-5 lacs per annum.

The cell also conducts Pre-Placement Talks as per mutual convenience of the students and the corporate. The Placement Cell is assisted by all the students and staff members directly or indirectly. VVIT have followed a trend to offer training to all the students irrespective of their stream (branch) every year. Right from their 3rd Semester corporate training is started for all the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible as compared to other colleges. The fees includes of tuition fee, development fee, text books fee per year. There were also mess fees so the fees excludes them. So the fees was not too much.

Campus Life

The library serves as a rich work space for students to do research and referencing. And to enable the student to spend adequate time at the library, the library works beyond college hours & the reading room is accessible to students on Sundays as well.

Placement Experience:

After joining the course with 3 months of starting of the course the placements will be startedforthe students to apply for the placements. Tier-1MNCs companies are visiting for the college which are proving high package . The highest package got is 94LPA and average package is 10LPA. 95% of students got the placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses they offer are not so relative to our stream. We also had questioned this to higher authorities. But they just say that the syllabus is fixed and they cant help . And if we need to pass we have to study those subjects.

Btech students are eligible from 3rd year of education Mtech student are eligible from 2nd year of education Same goes for design, architecture, paw, MBA, MCA etc 50+ number of company visits, 35 LPA is the higgest package and lowest package is around 7LPA. 75% of the students get placed I wanted to complete Phd in the same college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think data science is booming in the current industry so i thought of taking this course. Since our batch was the first batch to introduce Data Science in the University we had many disadvantages. The concepts and syllabus were not very excellent to us. We had to learn only few concepts.

Placement Experience:

As I already told placement is good. Just try to keep your CGPA above 7.5-8 and you will be able to sit for hiring of all companies and rest be prepared with your DSA and core CSE concepts, Placement season is hectic but good and worthy. Few of the recruiters were Western Digital, Qualcomm and Samsung Semiconductors.

Campus placement conditions have improved in IISc after the inception of campus placement cell. Average package is around I would say 25 lpa. truths about VVIT college

I didn't choose this college but the government has given me the college * I wrote my KCET and got this college in KCET which i could not resist. * Starting I thought this college would be good but coming to this colleges proves me wrong and disspoints me to be in this college * I had thought to do other course than engeneering and wanted to go jyoti nivas college , christ universites like top colleges in banglore but i got seat in KCET and got this college but the course which i got made me to choose this college, I got AI-ML course in this college, I got the course I wanted till then i was happy and exciting but after visiting the college I was dissappointed * I didn't apply for other colleges because I wanted a government seat for the course i wanted and I had no choice over other colleges beacause i already got in vvit which is government seat. * I didn't get rejections in any colleges beacause i didn't apply for any. * Admission process for my college is through KCET or JEE and management seat available My overall admission processes was very painful and now I think that i should have selected a better college than this and I still regret that i chose this college but in the end not everything is our hands....Read More
