IIIT lucknow (known for placements)

I was having a keen interest in computer science so I chose this field with an additional subject of business. As per faculties, they are well qualified and supportive. Exams and labs are taken here in approx 2-3 months and as I am now in 1st year our mid sem happened in 1 month after joining the college and the end will be taken after 2 months from mid sem. I know this might seem like less time but I can say from my side that 2 months was enough for us to prepare for the end and exams can be easily passed with an approx cgpa holding of 8 to 8.5 if you study just one week before the exam for academics as most of the students do.

top companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, Wipro, Flipkart, Samsung, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase and Co., Qualcomm, etc come here. There are also companies like Uber, Paytm, Tekion, Zomato, Hike, and HCL technologies that come here for internships.

One of the best things of this college is it's placements. For btech the average is 31lpa and highest package is 1.2 crore per annum as of now. The main reason for this average package is the coding culture of our college. And also the seniors are very supportive and are always ready to help. Each and every student got placed this year.

Fees per semester are 1.5 lakhs and there are no scholarships from the college side but you can apply for state scholarships. From College side, there are no scholarships right now. Hostel fees are 12k per year and mess fees are 17.5k per sem.

I can say that life on campus is amazing. There are a lot of events happening throughout the year. There are clubs and wings for every type of activity, may it be sports, dance, singing, coding, Machine learning, open source, acting, and many others. And the infrastructure of this college is also nice. There are well-maintained labs that are opened 24/7 and classrooms are also equipped with air conditioners.

I can personally say that the hostel facilities of this college are great. The rooms and are infrastructure well maintained and the hostel also has facilities like labs, wifi, canteens, etc. Mess food is also good and the menu also changes on a monthly basis here.

The admission process was through josaa and csab. You have to upload all the necessary details and caste certificate if you belong to the category while filling josaa forms. I attempted my jee in 2022 and achieved an AIR of 18306 and obc category rank of 4379. I got selected in b. tech Computer science and business branch at IIIT LUCKNOW with this rank. For reservation benefits, I can say that there are not any benefits after entering college but in josaa,. obc candidate has a buffer of approx 6000 ranks than a general category student for this college.
