Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because of my background in agriculture. The first-year FABM courses are common with the PGP students while in 2nd year FABM students have their own courses catered to agribusiness.
Internships Opportunities
Companies coming for the internships include Olam, ETG, Udaan, Licious, zepto, P&G, RB, Yes Bank, Marico, Nestlé, PepsiCo, Amul, way cool, Ninjacart, Yum Brands, Pidilite, etc. The roles offered are mainly marketing, consulting, operations, etc.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements in the 6th term. There is a record of 100 percent placements. There are top recruiters like PepsiCo, Nestlé, Bayer, Olam, Yes Bank, Amul, UPL, FMC, Zepto, Iff, Licious, Udaan, and more.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure is 24.6 lac. There is a compulsory 2 months internship program that happens from April-May to the end of the first year. There is ample scholarship opportunity like IDFC First, and special need-based merit scholarships if the annual income is below 15lac.
Campus Life
The campus life is quite lively with various co-curricular activities happening all year round. The fest Chaos happens around the month of January and is a 4-day fest. The library is well maintained with many articles and books and various available databases. The classroom facilities are nice. There are almost 50 clubs on campus.
Hostel Facilities
Individual rooms are provided to students along with attached bathrooms. There are 43 dorms in total and each dorm is provided with high security. There is a student mess along with other 5 eateries on campus.
Admission
IIM shortlisted me for WAT-PI based on CAT percentile which happened on 15th March. On D-day, we were given a WAT topic and subsequently, the interviews were scheduled. The interview went on for about 25 min.
Interview Experience
The GD question was about Women in Corporate World and how knowingly or unknowingly through our biases, we stop a woman from making a successful career. Interview questions were based on my agriculture knowledge basically
