So there is a west campus which is about 3 km away from college

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I am interested in computer language. The faculty-student ratio is about approximately 12:70. All the teachers all highly qualified & teach students in a very interactive method. Exams are quite challenging in hbtu but if you study then the exams will be quite easy to pass.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for campus placement in 3 years ( 5 semesters). Companies visited - Amazon ~ 44.5 lakh, Flipkart ~10 lakh, Reliance~15 lakh Asian pains~18 lakh Approx 95 % of students get placed. I am preparing for placement after getting the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Actually, the 1-year fees are about 135000 but in 2 second year, it reduced to 127500. So the fees actually reduced. I am not eligible for any scholarship. Yeah but students who are eligible for scholarships get around a total of college tuition fees.

Campus Life

Annual fest- adhyaya, Tech fest- technical, Sports fest - aagaz, Above are given the fests that happen in hbtu. The Library is full of books you get every book in your course. The classes are not air-conditioned, not too good they are like avg. There are many clubs of approx every type.

Admission

I have cracked jee mains, Should have above 60 percent in 12 classes. All the application forms and all other admission details are available on hbtu's website. Any improvement I want to see in the admission process is that they provide very less details and take too much time.

Placement Experience:

Placement is already average and also increasing every year and i have heard from a masters senior that in 4 days 1000 students got placed and still placements are going on and i can say it is pretty good and improving and increasing every year and our college also has wipro labs ios development centre and many more things and people get eligible from 6th semester 3rd year and highest package was of 30-40+LPA IN EXCEPTIONAL CASES for highly skilled students and average is 5-6 LPA package dependss in skills and communication skills and confidence and all roughly 70-80% students and eligible to get placed and also for it and cse students its higher and increasing every year and so on

From 6th sem students become eligible for campus placements. Various companies visit the university including tcs, wipro, Accenture, Harman, Amdocs and they give on average of 4-5LPA. The highest packet would be arounf 35-40LPA and it was off campus. around 70 percent of the students get placed. I am working now

the students are eligible for campus placement in the last semester. the companies mostly visits the campus are Wipro,HCL ,TCS and many more. the highest package from this college was 10 /Lpa and the average one is 4.3/lpa. the percentage of students getting placed is 80%. The students become eligible for placement after 6 th semester and at the starting of 6 semester students start getting ppo i.e pre placement offers and other things . An average college, it is good if you are from middle lower class family

All About the HBTU throught the lens of a first year student.

The other colleges which i applied to were IET Lucknow , IIIT Una , IIIT Dharwad and other lower IIITs . I choose over those since this colleges reputation and placements spoke for itself they had a very good track record regarding this course and many famous companies have been coming here repeatedly. The admission in this college is through HBTU e-counselling site which is a standalone website managed by HBTU itself . It has a registration fees of 2500 rupees is non refundable . There you fill your choice of courses . The branch is alloted according to your JEE MAINS rank and your preference list . After the seat allotment letter you have to visit college and there you will have to submit your documents then you will be given a provisional admission letter and you are given a choice to upgrade your branch to the courses you have selected in your preference list. The admission in this college for UG is given through only JEE MAINS for engineering and all other branches leaving Biotechonlogy and Biochemical where you can get admission through CUET....Read More
