Course Curriculum Overview
I have opted for this course as this offers opportunities in different fields such as government and private sector too. On average faculty ratio is about 30 students per head. In our college, there are 2 mid-semester exams and 1 end semester per semester.
Internships Opportunities
Most of the reputed and designated companies like Amazon, LNT, Tata, Paytm, and even government sector companies offer placement. And due to better alumni network students also get advantages in internships. Many students also did internships in government companies like DRDO.
Placement Experience
The placement ratio is 95.83. It has a total of 13 branches with a good average package. The highest package gone is 46 lakhs per annum of students of computer science and engineering which was offered by Amazon. Many students get placed in good companies while others prepare for government exams and our various alumni are at higher posts working for the government of India.
Fees and Financial Aid
College fees per year are about 1,35,000, which may vary with some differences. Few fee waiver seats are reserved for students with better ranks in their respective branches. And one can also apply for the UP scholarship program and other than that Alumni group of our college also supports students through a scholarship to top students of their branch.
Campus Life
HBTU conducts its main cultural fest as ADHYAAY and other technical and sports events named Technika, Aagaz, and other small festive events on different occasions. But the infrastructure may not be up to mark but it is basically improving.
Admission
To get admission in HBTU Kanpur , you must be an applicant of JEE mains exam. It conducts counseling of its own for admission in different 13 branchs. And it provides reservation on the basis of caste and special quota for J&K students. It also reserves fee waiver seat for students on basis of the rank in JEE.
