Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is updated as compared to IITs and NITs we study Python and C language in the first sem only, and data structures in the second sem. All faculties are Ph.D. holders and awesome, dedicated, and cooperative but maintaining CGPA over here wouldn't be easy. We have mid sems and end sem in a semester that lasts for 6 months.

Class Size: 69Course Fees: INR 168000 per year

Internships Opportunities

You can opt for internship whenever you want during college but you'll have to work from college only , because college doesn't allow for going out for internships for the first two years , After 2nd year you'll have to do an internship and can definitely go out for internships.

Placement Experience

Awesome On-campus placements, CSE avg Package 25 LPA, IT + MTECH avg package 23 LPA, IT + MBA avg package 19 LPA. Every student coming here should expect at least 10-15 LPA Easily. You can also go for higher studies if you want to. Afterall placements are awesome

Fees and Financial Aid

Apart from SC, ST, and PwD students all are required to pay a full tuition fee which includes 84000 per semester, and a hostel fee of 25000 per semester. You can get scholarships easily from this college, they even send personal emails for scholarship opportunities.SC/ST students are not req. to pay tuition fees, full tuition fee waiver.

Campus Life

Several clubs are there, and each day you'll get something happening on campus, seniors are great( except some obviously). The gender ratio is disastrous at 6:1, but still, you'll have a great college life over here. Aurora, info save, and many more events every year.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is great, earlier every single student of this college used to get a single room irrespective of their courses. but now there're shared rooms but they are also sort of 3-4* hotel rooms 2 BHK ( only for freshies).

Admission

I gave JEE mains and secured 91.83 percentile and AIR of 73324, My SC category rank was 2993 and my closing rank for IIIT Gwalior Btech[IT] + MBA 5 years course was 3445 something so I took admitted over here to study IT as CS avg package over here is 25 LPA+, and I can even opt for exit option after 4 years of btech

IIIT bhopal the hidden gem

Placement Experience:

From 6 and 7th sem student are eligible for placements .paypal, amazon, google and other and their are 147 offer from companies the highest package of this is 65 lakh till now and 85 lakhs last year average packages is approx 17 lakhs and their are approx 85-95 percentage of placements my plans is to become software engineer after college.

Well equipped infrastructure and decent placements

Placement Experience:

The overall placements are pretty decent after looking at the job market currently. The students can go for summer internships during their 3rd year and also during their 4th year's 8th semester for winter internships. The students were eligible for campus placements from 7th semester onwards. Highest package offered was of 61 LPA from Uber and Nutanix for SDE profile Average package was 18 LPA From 2025 batch 60% students are placed My plans are to stay in corporate for atleast 2 years.

Insider Placements of IIITM Gwalior

my rank in jee mains was 18600 in which i didnt get any good branch (cs it) in good nit or iiit in JOSAA. Then in CSAB 1st round i got iiit jabalpur ece and in 2nd round i got iiitm gwalior it+mba). 1. I had applied to XIME Bangalore, Welingkar, and Christ College. I got selected for XIME Bangalore. 2. I choose IIITM Gwalior because it is a central government institute, proximity to my hometown and affordable program fee. 3. I got rejected from Welingkar and Christ due to low CAT score. 4. The admission process for MBA is quite straight forward. IIITM only accepts CAT score. There is no explicit mention of minimum CAT percentile. In under graduation one should have at least 60% with maths/statistics as one of the subjects. After that there will be group discuss round and interview round.
