Course Curriculum Overview

I choose electrical engineering because the college is very old and has a great alumni network in core branches like civil, mechanical, etc. Also, faculty members have great experience in teaching in our department there are more than 6 professors and many guest faculties. There are 80 seats in the electrical branch. Students have to give 2 mid-semesters and 1 end sem exam in a whole semester

Placement Experience

Placement is not very good but the bright students get placed every year. Approx. 40% of students have placed from each branch the ratio of placement was higher in CS and IT branch, almost every student are placed in computer science branch.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for the Btech program is approx. 25000 yearly or 1150 in each semester. Students also have many scholarship opportunities like MEDJAVI in this student has a rank under 1.5 lac in JEE and more than 85% in 12 standards get scholarships equal to college fees. And the student who belongs to backward classes like SC and ST gets a scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus life is good not like other private colleges but the overall exposure was nice. There are many clubs in college like JLUG, KARWAAN, etc. Which provides an excellent social connection. The college has a very good sports facility, it has a separate sports department. Sports fests are organized once a year like AVAHAN in which many sports are played.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is very good in JEC there are a total of 8 hostels in the college. Which are situated approx. 2km away from the college each hostel has 60 rooms the room is nice not too much but they are under renovation.

Hostel Fee: INR 23000 per year

Admission

The admission process was difficult. You have to score at least 95%tile or above if you want to get a computer science branch. The cutoff varies vastly vise but if you are a general candidate then you have to clear JEE exam with 100 or above marks

Average placements, Good infrastructure and Good placements

Placement Experience:

I think for 7th and 8th semister students are eligible for the campus placements. The companies like tcs, Amazon, Capgemini, D mart and etc and some other companies. The highest package is about 8 lacs and the lowest package around 2 lacs. The good number of students are placed in the college and like 20 to 40 percentage students have placed in college placements. After getting this degree I will try for a job or I will go for master's.

Life at OIST, Bhopal

Placement Experience:

In our college, placements take place in the final year of the course. By 7th semester, students are eligible to sit for placements. The placement opportunities are quite decent, an average package consists of 5 - 6 LPA every year. Several companies visit our campus like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Cisco, etc. Now, startups also started to visit for placements. Highest package has been 72 LPA, and every year in off campus as well, many students achieve high package like 8 - 12 LPA. Nearly 70% of students gets placed, also some students has other plans for their future. About me, I think of going for placements in my final year for which I have started preparation.

Excellent college and unbeatable placement

Placement Experience:

After 10th semester the student are available for campus placement Cap Gemini kpit Amazon apple and Google and many other companies are visited in my call is the average package of my college is 6 lakh and the highest package of my colleges 50 lakh about 17% students are getting of placement plan in the student a job is in the Google company average salary from reviews include that the average salary can be low despite Google placement are management of few reviews point out that the management is not always a student focused and from spectrum of the colleges operations could be improved college provider placement as compared to other colleges but college management are not good our very helpful for our students our colleges are very good and and facilities of placement but our colleges are not available in pure water in and drink not available in not available drinking water

My journey through Engineering and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The placements are good and offer strong opportunities for both full time roles and internships. Students are eligible for placements from 2nd year. Most companies approach from 3rd year. Many reputed companies visit the campus for placements, inluding D.E Shaw, Goldmann Sachs, Flipkart, Meesho, Accenture. Many people are placed from college from cse, ece from other branches its quite less. Overall the placement ecosystem is highly supportive and prepares students for their professional careers.
