Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose this course as I was deeply interested in the field of law. My reason for choosing Lloyd over others was due to the advantages that Lloyd provides. They provide us with a great internship experience, academically we are provided with trained and talented faculty. The student-to-teacher ratio is 50:1. The faculty are well educated and have done their masters as well. The term exams are not that hard, continuity is the key to passing the examination.

Internships Opportunities

5

The internship opportunities being provided by the college are immense. We are given internship opportunities every now and then. From state organizations to NGOs. The college tries it's best to provide us with a good internship. Such as, I recently completed my internship with DSLSA which was provided to me by the internship cell.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is good. We give around 2.2 lakhs per year. Every year the fee is increased by 10k. There are many scholarships provided by the college to assist students if they are eligible to attain one. Education loans and such are also easily available as the college has tied up with many banks.

Campus Life

4

The annual fest is conducted in the spring term and is known as Catalyst. The library here is stacked with all the resources that can help a student. There are numerous books and journals available to help us out. The classrooms are also stacked with all the basic amenities such as smart classes, ACs, proper benches, etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel for girls is well managed. There are 2 hostels currently which are occupied by girls. Both are nearby. The food given is good. It sometimes depends upon the dish being prepared but mainly the hostel staff tries to serve fresh and good food.

Admission

The admission process was smooth. It consisted of many entries. There were the following entry modes: Entry through Board exam marks, Entry through CLAT performance, Entry through AILET performance, Entry through LET exam followed by PI. The application form and fees can be found on the official Lloyd website.

Interview Experience

4.5

There was a short Personal Interview that was conducted after I had applied for the college. I was allotted a period and a professor was assigned to me. Basic questions were asked, and I was tested a bit regarding legal knowledge and a few current affairs questions.

Placement Experience:

Placements for Law are not comparable to the tech courses so far at GLA. Every year combining BBA LLB and BA LLB around 300 and I don't think even 100 are placed. So, GLA University will have to find a way to get atleast half the students find placements here and because I know my chances of getting placements are slim, I will be opting for doing LLM after I am done with LLB in 2027.

Placement Experience:

The college provide students with PDF lectures which focuses on personality development which includes confidence building, speaking and listening skills, etc. They also give tips for a better resume and how to give interview and prepare us for interviews by organising mock interviews. 5th year students are the focused students for the campus placement. Some students choose to be an advocate and others may prepare for higher studies and or prepare for judiciary and other civil services examinations. I personal preference to go for the one field which can open my ways for other field stoo.

LLM is also going on in my mind but that is only if I am able to get in top colleges or will continue to serve as a lawyer.
