Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was amazing. I had chosen this branch to learn more about programming and all. Also, I had a good rank to get admission here. The placement of our college for CS and IT branch are very amazing, that's why I had chosen this course. The faculty: student ratio is 1: 60. The teachers in our college are highly qualified and had a great way of teaching. The exams happened two times i.e. mid sem and final sem.
Placement Experience
The placements at our college are very amazing. The highest package offered in our college is around 1.5 crore per annum. The average package of our branch is also very good which is around 14 lakh per annum. A lot of companies visited our college which includes Amazon, IBM, JP Morgan, etc. Almost 95% of students get there on campus placements. I am planning to take the job after my college degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fees of our college are 1.35 lakh rupees per annum. Also, the hostel and mess fees are approximately 61 thousand per annum. There is no fee hike policy in our college. There is a lot of scholarship but the most common are government scholarship, and some private scholarships as well.
Campus Life
The campus life at our college is very amazing. The annual fest that happening in our college is "Adhyaay". It is an amazing fest in which there are a lot of fun and cultural activities. There are a lot of books and journals available in our library. There are books by foreign authors too. The sports facilities for students are also very amazing. A lot of sports activities are there which include football, basketball, volleyball, cricket, etc. There are a lot of social groups and clubs for students to learn new skills.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel at our college is very amazing. The hostel and mess fees of our college are 61000rs per year. The quality of rooms and the amount of facilities at such a price is just amazing. The food provided by the mess is also very amazing. You can get a hostel by just filling out the registration form available on the HBTU website portal. There are a lot of localities available to rent a room but taking a hostel is a better decision.
Admission
The admission process is quite difficult. First, you have to secure a good rank through Jee Mains exam if you are thinking to take admission in B Tech( Information Technology ) branch. If you had secured a rank between 30 thousand to 80 thousand then you can easily get admission. You can find the application form on the official website of HBTU Kanpur. Yes, there are some benifits to those who had reservations. The admission process is very good, so it does not need any changes.
