Our collage is one of the most recognised collage undar barasat university.

Entrance Preview

There is an entrance exam held by the collage Authority and i ranked 3'rd to the entrance. There is a great fame of the collage so that i choose that.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have taken hons. in physics and also pass course in maths and chemistry . There is each and every lab full of modern instruments.

Internships Opportunities

There is a campasing program held by collage where many local and national comes to select our boys and girls. Companys like durgapur cement, exide battery etc comes every year.

Placement Experience

There is an great placement opertunity offered by the collage. Our placement officer has sucessfully made his job. So that many student are now happy with their present achivement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There is an admisson fees of rs. 5000 about and rs 250 as exam fees.rs. 500 for students union fees , It is volentary not elementry for the students of each year.

May there be no scholarship facility in our collage but our collage supports poor students by givin a 50% grant in collage fees for each poor students.

Campus Life

Collage promotes extra curricular activities like debates quiz etc. It also to be said that every year in teaches day we have a lot fun from our collage.

There is half yearly and annualy exam system so there is no preasure on us about the exam and also modern teaching technique and excellent lab facility makes it experementaly so easy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Generally all the subjects excluding few rare subjects are available here. I choose this course because of my future planning. I can go for research with help of this. And I loved the course's study material and syllabus. The faculty is very well. Many teachers are here. Minimum 5 teachers in one department. And all teachers are qualified. The teachers are very good knowledgeable. They are very punctual and teaches us very carefully. In every semester there is held two college's internal examination. And end of the semester there is held a final exam when we have to go to different exam center. And practical exams are held very nicely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a great interest in doing chemical experiment.So it's obvious yo chose this subject. Chemistry department has lot of specialized faculty and they all have impressive qualifications.Above all they were very helpful and supportive.We got lot of helps from them. Teacher and student ratio was approximately 1:45.I have my three year course and there were 6 papers to qualify.Two papers in one year span. Its quite tough to pass every papers because question papers were really standard and there was no way to cheat in the exam hall. We had to go other colleges to give yerly exams.

I love my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love biology so i took this subject. In zoology department there are 32 students in my batch , approximately 100 students in our whole zoology department. Teacher are so good..they are too Frank with us. We love them. There are 6 semester in 3 years. Exam questions is very knowledgeable. It is not difficult to pass if one study hard.

I had applied to chandanagar goverment college i got confoirmed for only Barrackpore rastraguru surendranath college i choose this college over others beacuse i was only selected for this college i had applied for only two Yes i got rejected from chandannagar goverment college i was not in the merit list may be because of cutoff of 70% The Admission procces is first go on college website and register and after registration merit out amd tou get selcted cutoff is 60% the overall admission procces was easy...Read More
