Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Artificial Intelligence because it is the future of technology, Faculty student ratio is very down to 1:100. All faculty are PhD or pursuing a PhD. Term exams were taken every two months because of the inter- semester breakdown.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 98000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are available from various domestic and international companies and MNCs which are given to us from daily updates on official email accounts. We have to take a minimum of one opportunity for an internship in our course period.

Placement Experience

Placements are offered in our college with an average Placement of 8 LPA and some good super-dream Placements of 40-50 LPA. It's said that percentage of students getting placed is well above 90 percent.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is fine but the hostel fees are not worth it. It does not provide any good facilities and doesn't have good connectivity from close by cities that as Indore and Bhopal which are 120 and 80 km far respectively.

Campus Life

For three years, there has been only one cultural fest which didn't consist of much than some dance performances and some music events. The library is in the academic section which is still under construction.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are not good and mess serves okayish food. Canteen facilities are even not that good. It's basically just gives connectivity to college buildings better than outside pg rented rooms.

Hostel Fee: INR 180000 per year

Admission

Eligibility was on the basis of VITEEE Rank and JEE result. Due to COVID, our batch(2020) was selected on the basis of CBSE and local board results. Anyone can find the application form on the official page of Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore.

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. Average packages range from ?3.5 to ? 6 lpa , and some students get higher offer from off campus drives. Overall, the T&P cell of Mits gives every details for the companies coming.

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
