Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good. There are subjects from all domains related to management, i.e. finance, marketing, HR, strategy, operations, etc. The faculty is also good and tries to inculcate case studies and real-life examples along with textbook stuff.
Internships Opportunities
The first-year students are offered internship opportunities by the college itself. There are big companies who come to recruit students. Some of them are McKinsey, BCG, Accenture, Adani, TAS, etc in strategy, Goldman Sachs, JPMC, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Citi Bank, ICICI Bank, etc in finance, HUL, ITC, Mondelez, Diageo, Asian Paints, JSW, Dr. Reddy, Titan, TCPL, Tata Steel, etc in marketing roles.
Placement Experience
IIFT has 100% campus placements every year. The students do their summer internships after the first year. Some students are offered PPO from their internships themselves. The campus placements for finals jobs go on in the 4th and 5th trimesters of the MBA
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee for the MBA program is around Rs 20 lacs. There is an opportunity for getting a scholarship on the basis of academic performance. Some students are offered financial assistance on the basis of reservations prescribed by the Central Government. There are 100% placements from the college itself.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is very enjoyable. There are many events and happenings on campus. Also, it is always good to hang out with friends and also study together. There are sports events also organized in the college. The various clubs, committees, and cells also organize various events and sessions throughout the year.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is decent. There is some issue because of different hostels in IIFT as they are not able accommodate all students in the campus itself. The food is good and the hostels are completely safe for the students.
Admission
The Admission process is pretty standard. There is an application form where they ask for all the necessary details post which the candidate has to appear for the entrance exam. The entrance exam is followed by GD and PI. The candidate who meets all the requirements successfully are offered admission by the respective college.
