Admission was through iift entrance examination. I secured 99.86 percentile in the examination and thus cleared the cutoff, followed by interviews I don't think any improvement I'd needed for the same.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is well designed with a special focus on the international business aspect of the MBA. the faculty-student ratio is good, and the college has really experienced faculty members. Exams are conducted on time.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are quite good since iift is a Tier 1 institution. Almost all prominent recruiters of the nation also happen to recruit from iift, and thus the average Internship stipend is also high.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario is quite good. Iift being a Tier 1 institution, offers a good average package of around 25 lacks per annum. The placement committee is very professional and helpful to all the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are approximately 22 lacks including hostel and mess charges. I didn't avail of any scholarship, just an education loan to fund the degree. There are financial assistance packages available for the same as well.
Campus Life
There are a lot of clubs and committees on campus, which take part in various activities such as fests, sporting events, literature fests, debates, etc. Things do seem to get hectic academically from time to time.
Hostel Facilities
We have been provided a hostel facility around 4 kilometers away from campus, and we generally travel by bus, auto-rickshaw, or personal vehicles for the same. The hostels are well equipped by themselves.
Interview Experience
Yes, I had a personal interview along with an extempore. My topic for extempore was "technology and employee Satisfaction", and the interview lasted around 20 minutes, with 3-panel members, who were iift faculty members.
