Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very diverse. It has economics (micro, macro, econometrics, economic statistics), statistics (multiple courses), social sciences (psychology, philosophy, political sciences), communication courses and some miscellaneous courses on management. The faculty is excellent. The schedule is hectic. Three semesters in a year. Grading is relative. Not difficult to pass. I chose this course because interested in mentioned subjects.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship 1 - after the second year (social internship with csr wings, NGOs, startups, innovation cells) Internship 2 - after the fourth year (MBA first year, corporate internship with reputed companies) Placecom is in place for both internship processes.

Placement Experience

During the 14th semester of IPM/5th semester of PGP. More than 150 companies. All students get placed. Mostly all domain companies come. Plan to do the job. Rarely do students pursue startups after the course. There is an option to leave after your Bachelor's and take a sabbatical for one year before mba.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fee will remain the same for all years as announced at the time of admission. Campus jobs - the opportunity to run own ventures for the community (food outlet, etc) Scholarship and financial assistance only for the low economic category.

Excellent campus Life with fests, regular festivals celebrations, intra college events. Outstanding library - the one you always wanted (if you were like me) Too many clubs and committees to write here, check the website for that

Hostel Facilities

Outstanding hostel. Newly built. Excellent furniture. Ample storage space. For the first three years, rooms are on sharing basis and an attached washroom is available. For the MBA years, single rooms. Accommodation is compulsory on campus. Off-campus stay is not allowed.

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

Eligibility is After 12, give ipmat exam. Got an interview call. The interview was based on subject knowledge studied in higher secondary, general knowledge and hobbies. Also gave a written ability test on the same day as the interview. It was for 30 min and the topic for writing the essay was given on the spot.

Interview Experience

GD - general knowledge Interview questions - study subjects of the 12th carefully. Be aware of your surroundings. Know why you want to pursue the course. Dress sharply and be formal. You are expected to behave like an adult.

So in today's world everyone wants to do startup or want to become enterpreneour because job doesnt pay you good amount of salary and the work load is very high. So i always wants to open a business and for that i opt for BBA which is very helpful although the teaching techique should change as it gets boring only hearing theory all the time maybe teacher should try different method of teaching which involves practical info and also something where students also have to participate. No problem with the exam timing its not an issue

Good college for BBA.

Placement Experience:

In Oriental University the placement opportunities are provided. The students become eligible for the placements in their final year of the course. Many big companies visits the campus often for placements some of them are Accenture, Infosys, HDFC bank and many more. The highest package offered for the course is around 12LPA and the average is around 5LPA depending on the student's talent, skills and other factors. The percentage of students getting on campus placement is around 70% those who applied for the placements. My plan after getting the BBA Degree is to do Masters Degree.

I chose BBA because it is very good for business and after that, it is very easy to do an MBA. The playground of this campus is very nice and the classrooms here are big enough to help all the kids to sit together and the classrooms are well equipped with blackboards and benches. More than 5000 children study on this campus. The teacher here is very qualified and their way of teaching is also good. Here the exam is year-wise and the paper is very average and everyone passes easily.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it offered specialization in HR, Marketing and Finance. There are around 7-8 faculty members for 60 students. The faculties, except for a few of them are well qualified in their alloted subject to teach. The teaching method has not been that good as the teachers aren't able to have every students' attention and it sometimes becomes so hard for students to be able to know the concept of the subject. The mode of exams and the level of difficulty was fine for some subjects. But, a few of them did very strict checking even though they didn't teach us that well.

I had applied to the 2-year full-time flagship MBA equivalent PGP course in all the 20 IIMs in the country. The admission criteria followed was in a manner common to all the IIMs i.e. several eligibility criteria and further stages in the selection process were similar. All the IIMs individually except a group of 9 IIMs under the CAP declared the first shortlist for the PI process (they scrapped the WAT round owing to the covid pandemic).
