Everything about IIM V

It is the flagship course in IIMs. The faculty ratio is around 9:1 which is great. All professors are PHDs and are highly distinguished in their respective fields. There are 2 main exams in a term, a few quizzes, and project presentations.

Many good companies like KPMG, Bosch, Cognizant, ABSYZ, FedEx, etc., come for internships for 1st-year students. The highest pay for the 2023 batch was 3.5 lakhs and the average for the batch was around 57700.

We have the facility of campus placements. The highest package for the MBA batch 2022 was 31.6 LPA. Some of the prominent recruiters are Amazon, Infosys, KPMG, Deloitte, Cognizant, Bain, and comp, and career launcher. 100? of the eligible students got placements.

Fees are nominal when compared to other similar IIMs. Easy loans are available without any collateral. Financial aid is also given. Placements are conducted on campus for both years i.e. first-year placement for internship and final-year placement for the final job.

We are the first batch in our new campus which is around 70 completed. Classrooms are equipped with state of the art facilities. We have our cricket ground and sports complex. We have many flagship events of sports and cultural activities. IIM V is also a participant in SANGRAM - 3 days sports meet between 4 IIMs. Many student-run clubs conduct various events.

I took CAT. It is an entrance exam for IIMs. It costs around 2000. It happens in the month of November and application form filling starts in the month of august. After getting shortlist from IIMs, one has to go through the GDPI round.

After getting shortlisted based on the CAT marks, one has to go through a GDPI/WAT process. Process steps depend upon the college. For IIM V, only PI was being conducted. Interview questions can start with "Tell me about yourself" and further follow-up questions. The interview can be completely unpredictable as well. They gave puzzles and also asked a few questions about current affairs.
