Entrance Preview
MAT 79 percentile. As I was a BCA student I wanted to do my Post Graduation. So I went for an MBA. I wanted to do my MBA in Chennai where development was a positive one. That's why I chose VIT.
Course Curriculum Overview
Good for a Finance and marketing background. We have the opportunity to choose our subjects from the set of options they give us. During the final year of the course, a student has to finish 33 credits including the final year project.
Internships Opportunities
Professors help us with their industrial exposure to get internships with stipends. Which was very commendable. Experienced staff is there in each specialization who not only helps us to get it but they also support us to handle situations.
Placement Experience
Currently, marketing students are busy with their placements. Expecting a lot of banks in the future. Placements start from the month of October for MBA every year. Placements are high for marketing and finance background.
College Events
Techno VIT in the month of October 2015 was pretty successful. It was a 5 days event where each day was taken care of different departments like E.C.E, Mechanical, C.S, MBA, LAW school.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Moderate one. Not so feasible nor expensive. When the hostel fees are included it shows a little hug figure than any other B-Schools. Apart from that, the fee structure looks affordable to various people.
Fees and Financial Aid
I preferred to get my own loan. So I don't have any idea about it. Self-financing means the have the flexibility to pay it in 2 terms. Other than that college is not providing any loan facility.
Campus Life
Too good because of the pleasant environment. Most of the time there won't be continuous classes so that students won't be bored of it. Food courts are placed in different locations inside the campus.
Hostel Facilities
We have 3 different mess. People can choose according to their needs. And 24-hours Wi-Fi and currently enabled hostel with gym and play area.
Alumni/Alumna
We are getting internships as well as placements because of our alumni. So it's pretty good. Alumnus keeps in touch with our department professors and they intimate us when there is an opportunity which comes out of any company.
Exam Structure
For MBA the questions are more practical with case studies and real-life situations. So it enhances our thinking mechanism.
Faculty
Wi-Fi enabled campus with a pollution-free environment. Not more than 6 hours of class per day. So you will get enough time to do your other work without and pressure.
