Remarks

The admission process was good we were supposed to give a cet or jee exam and the basics of that admission were done the cutoff for Thakur college was 97 percent. The eligibility to get a good college is to get percent more than 90 the case colleges have minority seats also which will help to get into the best college there are reservations for minority seats like obc ,SC, st ,etc can get admission with less percentage also.

Course Curriculum Overview

Talking about Thakur college of Engineering and Technology is the best with its interior design and beautiful and clean campus. The course I am doing is BE in computer engineering I choose this course because it is where we get a good placement also interesting opportunities are available.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 1600000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for Thakur College of Engineering and Technology is 1lakh 60 but it is less for the minority students in Thakur college we have a Hindi minority and the students should speak in the Hindi language. The fees are also less for obc and ebc Students.

I have joined many clubs and social groups in my college Thakur College of Engineering and Technology there are many clubs like rctcet ewt etc it's so much fun to join such clubs we get to study as well as do other curriculum activities.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. i got in this college through mht cet and i wanted to go into tcet as it was near to my house and one of the main reason is placement.
