Course Curriculum Overview

EEE is one of the sought courses here. The average placement of my branch is about 19 lakhs, which is at par with top IITs and tier-1 colleges of India. Also, apart from your branch, In BITS provides the flexibility of choosing courses in another discipline as well.

Placements start in the 4th year of our college and take place in both semesters. Almost all major companies come here for placement and intern as well, ranging from IT to finance, consultancy, product management, and core as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a Fee hike policy in BITS which states fees will increase by 15% every year. About scholarship there is merit and merit cum need scholarship given in BITS, amour of scholarship partially also depends on your Cgpa.

Campus Life

BITS has one of the best amenities in the country. Sports facilities are one of the best, all major indoor and outdoor sports are there. Also, there are two major sports events here, one is BOSM and the other is Inter BITS.

Admission

Entrance into BITS happens through BITSAT. BITS don't have any reservation policy, so complete creator comes fairly through BITSAT only. I am in Electrical and Electronics engineering, it is a 4 Year course BE course.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for place ment . College provide placement of around average package of 4 laks. And highest package may vary is about 9 lakh,17 laks. It get ony one or two studentrest of anothe get 2,3, 4,6 laks. Many company visited .Like CYNTEXA, METACUBE ,TCS,INFOSYS, COGNIZANT, THRILLOHILIPA ,CONSULTADD. Percentage of students is around 60 percent students got placed who have skills. My plan to pursuning M.tech through gate .Because the companies don't give good package. But this is good in comparison to purnima and jecrc foundation .

Placement Experience:

Placements of this college are good and has an average package of 4.5 lakh. Most of the students gets a on campus placement and almost 60-70% of students get placed from every batch. After 6th semester onwards students become eligible to apply for on campus placements in college. The main companies which offer placements are AppPerfect, Secure Meter, Vedanta, Wonder Cements, Advaiya, In time tac. The highest package is offered by AppPerfect which offers around 6 lakh to students, and average package offered by companies is 4.5 lakh. In Secure Meter 13 students are placed this year. In AppPerfect 6 students are placed this year.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students get eligible for placements which is from 7th semester onwards companies start visiting our college. The companies visited yet are:- Appperfect - it selected 6 students Securemeter Limited - it selected 12 students. Advaiya - it selected 7 students. There are many companies which will visit campus soon. Till now Appperfect has provided a package of 5.5 lpa. The average package is of 4 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed is around 64. My plans are of higher studies.

Good college, good life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food is a vast subject and people will not stop eating, so the scope of food technology is just amazing. The college has its own faculty for different subjects. This btech course is of 4 years ie 8 semesters. Each semester has midterms and final semester exams. Last semester is for an internship. Midterms are of 20 marks, practical of 30 marks and final semester theory exams of 50 marks, so passing the exam is damn easy. Regular classes with good faculties make this course easy.

I'm choosing this course because I want to become an engineer and feel proud of my family. 50+ faculty members on the college campus, All faculty members are graduated and many are Ph.D. levels faculty. All are good teaching experiences. Term exam is high-level and very tough to fight exams.

The exposure given for finance and Entreprenurship in BITS Pilani is well over what an average engineering college might provide you . They offer a minor option using which one can sit in finance placements with companies like UBS Deutsche Bank , Jane Street and many more .The admission process for BITS includes the BITSAT exam which is an MCQ based exam . From 2023 there have been 2 attemtps of the same ,earlier there used to be only one .However one thing to keep in mind is the BITSAT exams occur right alongside the JEE Advanced examinations as well the results .I personally gave my bitsat the day my advanced results were announced...Read More
