Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is well-defined, the faculty is very good, and is most apt for their field. I choose my course because of my interest in this field. Overall. bits provides opportunities in varied roles in placements.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Amazing summer intern opportunities are available. With half of the batch being able to grab interns, recently a company have 24 lahks for 2 months for a summer intern. So overall intern season is good and placements are also good.

Placement Experience

Students can take placements either in 7 or 8 semesters depending on their ps-2 choice. Almost all tier-1 companies visit the campus and everyone gets placed. The highest package goes above 60 LPA and the role is quant. After getting a degree I will work and then I Will decide.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is a bit high with both options available, as in either complete semester fee in one go or in installments and scholar loan is easily available for bits as it is a tier 1 college. The fee hike is at max 15 percent per year which is high but they have a lot of scholarships that you might take.

Campus Life

The campus is great with amazing culture and people. Clubs are an integral part of bits. Almost all departments in bits are run by students. It is a great place to grow and thrive and provides extreme learning conditions.

Admission

Bitsat exam is required for Btech from Bits Pilani and admission is through a counseling process, paper is held in May, and admission is finalized in mid-July. No reservations of any kind. The admission process is apt and does not require any changes whatsoever.

Placement Experience:

In our college the students are elgible to sit in campus placement from third year , there comes a lot of companies in our college which comes here for placement drive and some for providing internship .Some of the companies that comes in our college are L&T, Deloitte , Capegemini, Reliance , TCS , TCE, Wipro, Infosys, miniorange, Berger paints ,Amazon etc . The highest package from this college is of 44 LPA which was from CSE branch and given by Amazon and the average package ranges around 6.5 LPA for almost every branch . Every year almost 80 percent of students get placed around here and some of them leaves placement for further studies and also some took admission in many premier institutes for getting higher education.

From fourth year the students become eligible for campus placements And before that you have to go for outside placements by students himself only companies visited like Microsoft Zomato and all no Google and number of companies are not very good only mass recruiters are there like three L package tcs and old highest package is around 53 lakhs by Microsoft last year in 2023 and 4 academic year percentage of getting placements is like around you can say out of 100 4040 will get placement Every package is around 5 according to the chorus but I know it is around 3 lpa In reality I am pre paying for gate exam right now let us see what happened

I selected this college over other colleges due to its legacy, exposure and opportunities. The freedom to traverse through multiple domains and it's flexible academics. I had applied to almost all biotech, bio engineering related colleges to get into health sector domain. I did not get rejection from any of the colleges. The exposure given for finance and Entreprenurship in BITS Pilani is well over what an average engineering college might provide you . They offer a minor option using which one can sit in finance placements with companies like UBS Deutsche Bank , Jane Street and many more .The admission process for BITS includes the BITSAT exam which is an MCQ based exam . I chose BITS Pilani over other colleges due to its academic flexibilitym vibrant culture, zero reservation and merit based admission process. I had confirmed admissions from other colleges such as DTU but I opted for BITS primarily because of it Practice School program and the autonomy it offers in shaping your academic journey.
