Course Curriculum Overview

Chemical is a branch that has a lot of scopes you can choose petro industry electric vehicles environmental sciences and many more things which makes it unique Faculty per student is around 1: 15. They have very good methods of teaching with tutorials and lectures being separated the structure is excellent. Term exams are twice per semester and it is easy to clear NC but grading is tough.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 240000 per year

Internships Opportunities

We have 2 PS in each of the stipends offered is around 70-80k per month which is sufficient as an intern doing projects under profs is very easy as they are very supportive and they help a lot. You can learn several things from them.

Placement Experience

Placements are very good average package is 28 lakes which is quite people get upto 2 chores and bits are not less than an IIT. A huge amount of companies visit our campuses and they give offers to many students and we have 100% placemats each year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are high 240000. But you can avail of several scholarships like mcn, you can get upto 80% scholarship just for a cgpa of 8.3+ which is quite great, and you can also do a Teacher assistantship which will give a 20k stipend.

Campus Life

Clubs at bits Pilani are awesome they are a huge variety of clubs associations and departments that do different works. The three fests are oasis apogee and bosom which are extremely good and oasis is Asia's second largest cultural fest. Books are available in the library the course books are available almost all the time for reference and for loan too. Sports activities are also very good at Pilani.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are extremely well maintained they have maintained good hygiene and cleanliness. Meals are also so good. Probably the best mess in the world title will be deserved by bits. Registration for a hostel is also so easy and we can do it very easily.

Hostel Fee: INR 15000 per year

Admission

You need to have 75% in your 12th examination or equivalent. You have to fill out the form BITSAT which costs 3000 for applying for BITSAT. No reservation. The admission process is best known to me as they give marks just after completion of BITSAT.

Placement Experience:

In our college the students are elgible to sit in campus placement from third year , there comes a lot of companies in our college which comes here for placement drive and some for providing internship .Some of the companies that comes in our college are L&T, Deloitte , Capegemini, Reliance , TCS , TCE, Wipro, Infosys, miniorange, Berger paints ,Amazon etc . The highest package from this college is of 44 LPA which was from CSE branch and given by Amazon and the average package ranges around 6.5 LPA for almost every branch . Every year almost 80 percent of students get placed around here and some of them leaves placement for further studies and also some took admission in many premier institutes for getting higher education.

From fourth year the students become eligible for campus placements And before that you have to go for outside placements by students himself only companies visited like Microsoft Zomato and all no Google and number of companies are not very good only mass recruiters are there like three L package tcs and old highest package is around 53 lakhs by Microsoft last year in 2023 and 4 academic year percentage of getting placements is like around you can say out of 100 4040 will get placement Every package is around 5 according to the chorus but I know it is around 3 lpa In reality I am pre paying for gate exam right now let us see what happened

I selected this college over other colleges due to its legacy, exposure and opportunities. The freedom to traverse through multiple domains and it's flexible academics. I had applied to almost all biotech, bio engineering related colleges to get into health sector domain. I did not get rejection from any of the colleges. The exposure given for finance and Entreprenurship in BITS Pilani is well over what an average engineering college might provide you . They offer a minor option using which one can sit in finance placements with companies like UBS Deutsche Bank , Jane Street and many more .The admission process for BITS includes the BITSAT exam which is an MCQ based exam . I chose BITS Pilani over other colleges due to its academic flexibilitym vibrant culture, zero reservation and merit based admission process. I had confirmed admissions from other colleges such as DTU but I opted for BITS primarily because of it Practice School program and the autonomy it offers in shaping your academic journey.
